Maintenance for the week of August 31:
• ESO Store and Account System for maintenance – September 3, 10:00AM EDT (14:00 UTC) - 12:00PM EDT (16:00 UTC)

This is from Article 9 from the ESO TOS, how are Ballgroups not in violation of this?

9. Your Use of the Services

You further agree not to access, create, or provide any other means through which the Services, including, but not limited to, any Game(s), may be used or accessed by others, such as through server emulators.

You may not participate, take part in, initiate, or engage in actions that impose an unreasonable or disproportionate load on the infrastructure hosting the Game(s) and/or Services.

IMHO all these people are ruining the game and chasing away hundreds of other players and should be given a 14 day ban and if they continue their nonsense, they should get a permaban for purposeful overloading of the server to create lag, undue advantage for themselves, and to create a substandard experience for the rest of the player base. These devs need to stand up to these toxic players or continue to bleed PAYING players (you have to be feeling the bleeding of ESO+ memberships lately). Ball is in your court devs, pun intended, do the right thing.

Yeah, let's ban players for grouping. I'm sure that'll go great.

It must be because grouping in a MMO doesn't impose an unreasonable or disproportionate load on the infrastructure.
Thanks for proving that groups don't cause lag :)

Ball groups aren’t purposefully creating lag. The exact same server strain occurs in massive zerg fights without a single ball group in sight. If the server is choking on the game because it can’t handle the effects, that’s on the company for not updating or fixing it.

Ball groups use the game as expected. The clause covers cases like ddos, data scaping and abusing bugs that enable flooding the server API with an unnatural number of requests. Hamster-powered servers' issues are not on players playing the game normally.

Of all the approaches one can take to discuss ballgroups, this ain't it chief.

Because the only rule they enforce is the hurt feelings rule an even that is applied inconstantly
