its 430pm on a Saturday an the whole map is ep on gray host na pc zero bars dc an 1 ad an en is pop locked. what happened i was told it was a weekday off peek thing but hear we are on a weekend at 4 almost 5 an its like this. is it really that bad? do people want the pvp to die? im confused? when i played games with my friends id let them win so they wouldn't quit an not ever play but it seams thats way above eso players heads

People are tired of performance issues, huge imbalances beteween classes and how ZOS are handling it, the PTS patch notes make things even worse5 -

No one is forcing people to play the broken metas an zos hasn't had balance in the game since the 1st 3 years that ship has sailed. like i said when i use to play split screen wid the homies id pick a more challenging character to play to give them a chance so they didnt quit an never play again an there's fun to be had in playing with something not OP but that's lost on so many players, if people don't want the game to die there gonna have to take matters into there own hands or they can keep doing what there doin an kill it because zos doesn't care. zos is like a pet owner that left the dog on the side of the road an the players are just driving a car right over the puppy0 -

I was playing Cyro in Venegance for a bit and got bored of the imbalance. You asked about why everyone quit Cyro, it's the same reason as always.2 -

ZOS has done everything in it's power to run people out of Cyrodiil over the years and it has only gotten worse the last two years4 -

Vengeance is great, its just most actual PvPers left the game ages ago, so now it's just build carried meta abusers and ball groupers. Hence why PvP is dead lolI'm better.10 -

✭Right now on Gray Host PC/NA there's also an increasingly brazen group of trolls trying to kill off anything approaching good fights and sportsmanship. Which has occurred in the past but it's still obnoxious that it takes so long for such groups to be dealt with.
This has of course compounded the issue with AD has had for years where to many of its players insist they don't need to help anyone but themselves. No matter how politely you ask, or how desperate things get, they simply refuse and demand others to carry them.
If you wish to see what I mean try leading a PUG group on AD. Or ask the people behind you to help siege.
Combine that with a large number of zergling trolls who just want to pvdoor and harass people and it's a recipe for disaster.
As always the solutions remain simple enough. It's just a matter of people putting in the minimal effort required, and for ZOS to do its part in moderating toxic elements.
Oh, and a huge nerf to DK is needed. There's a reason the most toxic streamers, and PVdoor emp groups are all DKs right now.

That's how it is right at this minute, but it will change. Everything in Cyro is cyclical as people swap factions.
And PC GH pop locks every day still, so there is still plenty of demand.2 -

i think the only game on the planet due to be released that will stop eso regulars playing eso for a while is ES60 -

hollow_winds✭✭✭Yeah, sort of. I cancelled my ESO plus recently as well. I mainly stick to PvP but honestly, even PvE hasn't even felt worthwhile or rewarding lately. As others have said here, Cyro is stale. It's full of ball groups, DK/WW meta builds, glitches and bugs that are still yet to be addressed and the like...I can't speak for everyone but I think I've played maybe once or twice in the last two weeks. Decided to take a break, hop over to some other games (Helldivers 2 specifically) and I've been having a blast, lol.
Here's hoping U51 does something but I'd be curious to see actual numbers of the current Cyro population during prime time.PC NA

You are mistaken. Big time.
You guys just don't understand! It's so hard right now on my sorc to hide behind shields that refresh every second in an automated fashion and can't be broken except by DK's whipping for over 27K or WWs if they can ever catch me streaking. Everyone playing the other classes doesn't know how hard I have it.
Oh and my stam and mag literally never go down unless you can get me to roll. If only ZOS would buff sorc and make crystal frag an instant cast all the time, you know the frag I am firing at a range for around 17K this patch. It's damage is so low, esp. when you compare it to whip.
I even got chased by 20 EP and barely survived with 0 of my HP dropping, my shields not moving because they refresh literally every second on my build using automation, and then streaked + DBoS and exectionered one squishy and bombed them all. That was a pro move, you have to admit it. (yes this actually happened, sorry EP I'm gathering evidence) It took so much skill and so much luck there was never any possibiity I would die the whole time.
If that speedy templar catches and outplays me on stam sorc because I wear 2x damage sets in light armor, and that person encountered me many times and knew exactly how and when I would streak, it means templar needs a nerf. Even if it costs them more stam and build decisions than me on my Sorc, I don't care -- the templar needs a nerf. The gapcloser is too powerfull. It should never work on a 1:1 basis with me using streak. 1:1 is simply no fun!
Yeah, templars seem too much. The NBs also seem too much. Have you seen them cloak? Even though cloak essentially accomplishes the same thing as Streak and doesn't do damage, I'm going to sit here on these forums and say that it's better. I'll even say that I'd take cloak over Streak on my Sorc, if I didn't have to be a pureclass because Sorcs have been the most nerfed class in the game and are at the bottom of the PvP ladder. Sorc skill lines are just so bad that I would rather be a pure class sorc than anything else and have been for the past 10 years on the game, even when subclassing came out!

Warden shouldn't snare, it makes me use too much stam; it's too much. ZOS also needs to look at the bear. Even though it stopped proccing sets like Sellistrix because it gave me trouble and I, a pro Stam sorc on the forums advocating for changes to the game that prove how pro I am demanded that pets no longer proc sets, I still don't like the damage that it gives. I died once to a Warden's bear, it needs a nerf. Sure there were 50 AD players, but that bear came around the corner and it hit hard for 120 HP finishing blow.
Necros and corpsebuster OMG why ZOS? It's too much. Seriously? Making the class lean on corpse mechanics to do damage? What am I supposed to do, help my teammates not fall instead of zip away with Streak? Are you kidding me? Having anyone benefit from corpses is just so unfair!
Arcanists? Well you don't see them because they are dominating so much. Their shields are just so powerful. It's their builds fault if they seem inferior to mine that get turned on by a class mastery, cost less in reality, and can even scale better. Yeah, they should make better build decisions. I mean, if I wasn't on such a terrible class as Sorc, I'd be on Arcanist. Really, I would. And I would be even more pro. Believe it.
My life is so hard as a sorc right now that I never have to block and I never have to roll thanks to 1-button streak solving all my issues. If only the other 5 classes would understand just how devastating their kit. Javelin is like so much better than Streak. I mean, anything is better than Streak once you look at the Sorc kit. Evade is better than Streak.
ZOS even nerfed Static Reverbation! Do you know how hard I farmed Storm Cursed and that other set so I can fire an arrow at somoene and watch them die in 2 seconds without them being able to do a thing? Do you?
It was fair and balanced play! It had counters! Just don't get hit by the arrow that I fired from Stealth at long range, or kill me before I streak 3 times. All things I could do in 3 seconds if it were me facing that recursive build, but of course I won't show it. I don't have to because I am a PRO Sorc. I said so after all.
I just don't undestand why it was nerfed it was so fun using that build and exterminating an entire keep of people with Occult proccing in addition to that recursive function. Why does everyone always want to nerf fun? Why does everyone want to nerf Sorc? Why? We Sorcs have been victimized enough!
Wait, everyone's having fun right? Yeah, they have to be. That's why there's the most PvPers in this game in history. Look at how big the queue is and how dead the map is at primetime! But it's not me here at fault. I would NEVER be on the most populated side, tilt my camera when streaming and record and then look for the best posssible footage that makes it look like I'm a pro and then come back on to these forums and defend broken things that give me an advantage.
No way. What's next, if ZOS nerfs Streak or someting else becomes competitive I advocate for it to get nerfed until I have an innate advantage? No way. That could never be me. I'm a pro Soc. Very pro. NERF DK ,NERF WW but don't nerf poor pro Sorc me!

last weekend it was for 10+hrs an no one could take any keeps every day because 1 faction was pop locked an every other faction had zero bars. that's not pvp that's pve an boring AF. to the point people just quit the game an i haven't seen them since an they said this was the reason in discord. i could name names of the person doing this to everyone but TOS wont let me an if u know you know sooo....1 -

It is not a war. It is a game. A video game played on a machine from the safety , and luxury, of one's abode.
It's incredibly disrespectful to even try and use that comparison to justify the poor sportsmanship and toxic behavior of a specific group of people.
Furthermore it does not excuse poor moderation, bad game performance, and a 12 year old scoring system that really needs to be updated. After all all three of those, especially the last, are one of the reasons things are as bothersome as they are now.Character: Telel
