Main quest contradiction.
After the quest where you rescue Abnar Tharn, the prophet tells you that he is Varen the former emperor, but after every main quest a book appears on a table near by written from the perspective of titan born. I think it's the third book that says Tharn tells you who the prophet really is, when in fact the prophet tells you himself, I just thought it was strange that the main quest has a contradiction, any way thanks for reading.

✭✭✭✭✭Lyris Titanborn isn't Abnur Tharn's biggest fan. Given that the book is written from her perspective, that's likely how she remembers it. He may not have actually told you himself, but he did spill the beans forcing Varen to fess up. Her penchant to blame him for it likely skews her memory of it.
