What I gave was an example of what Sorcs are or can be using and the builds I posted make use of most of those skills, even the Sorc skills it's Hurricane, Streak, Dark Deal and then take your pick of Frags or Armaments for the buff.
They're all using Frags/CW and Bound Armaments, both. The first SHOOK build you linked doesn't have frags but the second SHOOK vid you linked does. In all of the videos they are actually casting BA if you watch the gameplay footage.
Despite being U49 (by only 7 days), this build would still be effective in PvP, namely, from the amount of burst. The combination of W/S damage + Pen are high for PvP which means it will apply heavy burst on a target, the skill factor to a build like that are the weaker resistances. Even in U50 that build will output high damage in PvP, it would just take a skilled player to stay alive with those resistances and only Vigor slotted.
No friend. It wouldn't be. It is an exceptionally poor PvP build. Nobody I know would die to that.
You don't see those builds casting Curse then waiting 3 seconds to try and (hopefully) cast a bonus Proc of Frags and Bound Armaments together
True most stam builds just crutch on the ult and don't kill much outside of that. I do see plenty of sorcs using curse but not in the way you describe here.
As for ranged Sorcs, they're all Mag based and despite getting significant sustain buff from the U50 Mastery passives,. Mag Sorcs have been trailing, significantly, behind Stam Sorcs for quite a long time. That goes back to even before subclassing and no update has brought those two concentrations in-line.
    Simply false.

Yes, but the basis of your entire argument that Sorc skills are strong and competitive lies with them being chained together in a specific timing to all proc at the same time .... Nobody in any of these videos is doing that, namely, because none of them are slotting 4 or 5 offensive Sorc skills. Even the casts they do make are independent and secondary of one another, none of them are going out of their way to specifically time Frags & Armaments; they're just casting them as secondary sources of pressure.

No friend. It wouldn't be. It is an exceptionally poor PvP build. Nobody I know would die to that.

That's an opinion. What isn't an opinion is the math of the output on that build. Those numbers are comparable to what's cast in PvP. A Non-Crit Merci for 31K is about what we see out of PvP now. Again, the main issue with that build is it's durability but I'm focused more on it's offense.

True most stam builds just crutch on the ult and don't kill much outside of that. I do see plenty of sorcs using curse but not in the way you describe here.

Some do, absolutely; but not all. It's mostly the Onslaught builds who lean on the Ulti for kills. A good number of your stam melee builds can get kills easily outside of their Ults.

The way I described curse came from you. I don't use Curse and I also don't see people using Curse in that way either, but, your whole position is that Sorcs skills are competitive by precisely timing the chain combo of skills like Frags + Curse + Bound Armaments.

There's reasons why we don't see people doing those things, because they're not reliable. The bonus of Frags is RNG and a player has 2, one-second windows within which they can try to apply a damage skill when Curse pops (assuming it wasn't cleansed). If Frags doesn't proc the bonus it's an 0.8 cast time so those two things are going to feel clunky a majority of the time.

    Simply false.

Then where are the Mag based Sorcs that are using majority Sorc-Class skills as their offense being at the top of any PvP leaderboards? They're not. They're either leaning on world & weapon, like I said, or they're Stam Sorcs (which are essentially doing the same thing).

If Sorcs in-class offensive skills are so good then why don't you show us your build, where you're slotting majority Sorc class offense and show us where you rank on a competitive PvP leaderboard.

I've made my case. Sources cited. There is a lot of misunderstanding I don't have the energy to address. If we can't even agree that that one bar build is trash then we won't likely agree on much

The most recent 2k players I've encountered in BG's. The record holder for kills+KD is in my guild and uses a fairly standard ranged magsorc setup. Anecdotally most sorcs I encounter are ranged magsorcs using class abilities.
