New Character Selection Background when?

So, I was wondering if we'll ever get a new character selection background. I never liked the Solstice / Season of the Worm Cult background, and every day I wish we'd finally get a new one, but without new chapters...?

They couldn't be bothered to make a login theme music suite either for Solstice, which I also found weird because it was supposed to be the most epic year ever. They also didn't release an official soundtrack for that chapter.

Seems during the Solstice cycle they were already fully into producing battle passes and cosmetics for 2026 and onwards, instead of actual game content creation like music, assets, zones, etc.

Since then, they unified artwork, icons, music etc everywhere. So, I don't think this will change much now that we lost themed chapters. It's probably too resource intensive to create music, login screens and art for every season.

I know I am probably in the minority, but those new login screens, background theme, soundtrack releases, new boss music etc really delighted me each year.

They legit just need to let us choose the background. I miss the old EP background :'(

Would be nice if we at least could get the previous ones to choose as a seting. We already have an option for the intro music.

The one that we are stuck with right now is my least favourite one tbh.
