You know a collaboration works in both directions? Especially after most of ESO's writing team is gone, I could see TES6 writers assisting with ESO writing.

I've taken a couple of months off ESO here and there as I've played other SP games, but I always come back.
That's not going to happen. When it comes to TES, Microsoft's priority is TES6. The XBox CEO was at Bethesda earlier this week looking at TES6. You can bet, "When can you release this?" and "What do you need to release it sooner?" were questions she asked. There's no way they'll dedicate any TES6 resources to ESO.

Last year I would have agreed with you, but now I don't think the majority would return. For players that prefer story and exploration, what would they be returning for? A new zone every few years? A few hours of story content a year? And for some, once the addiction is broken, it's done.

Billions of dollars. And ESO is a spin-off of the SP TES games, not the other way around.BretonMage wrote: »A single-player TES isn't the same as a TES MMO, so I don't see why players would leave ESO permanently.
