Oblivion Portals not counting as Overland Incursions

The Oblivion Portal incursions in Blackwood are currently not counting toward the "Defeat 1 Overland Incursion" challenge.

After defeating the final boss, the loot chest spawns and works correctly, but the challenge progress remains at 0/1 and fails to advance.

Please look into this issue. Thank you!

...good to know that its not counting them... and by the way, it seems that the dragons in both Elsweyrs are not counting either! Wonder why?!

The portals are technically daedric incursions, for lack of a better name, but are mostly gateways into the Atoll of Immolation, which is more like a public dungeon. They're neither fish nor fowl and the game mostly ignores them for challenge progress except for "kill x humanoid daedra" and the like. This is the case for the portals in The Deadlands, too. If you had to look for something else in game which is comparable, the old mini-incursions (two-wave) and Soul Reapers (three-wave) are probably closest and those don't count, either.

They've counted for the couple a character did earlier, however. If they've stopped counting, then that's a bug.
I'm fresh out of outrage, but I could muster up some amused annoyance if required.

I disagree. Every zone has its own world events, and Blackwood's incursion is precisely the Oblivion Portal leading to the Atoll of Immolation.
We can debate whether it qualifies as a daedric incursion or something else... but in essence, it should count toward the progress of that specific Overland Incursion Challenge.
I would really appreciate an official opinion from @ZOS_Kevin on this matter. It would be highly welcome

    Hi folks,

Oblivion Portals not counting is a bug that will be fixed for U51. We will make sure dragons work for this as well.

    Thanks!
