I can sympathize with your frustration. Especially when there seems to be 95 days left to do them. (I think we started with like 135 or something?)

This means the following however:

If my math is correct, we know that each level is 168k AP per level after 50, so that means you need 8,400,000 AP to reach rank 100 from 50, assuming you don't have any boosts.

Lets say with boosts and this event on, you'd make that 8.4 mil much more quickly.

if you lost a bunch of bgs, lets say you earn 14k AP per BG, that would take you 600 bg matches.

If you won a bunch of BGs, lets say you earn 27k AP per BG, that would take you 311 bg matches.

EDIT: Like the above posters said, doing multiple BGs for 168k ap a day can get you there before the time is up, but it's still annoying. I'd say that's somewhere between 7-10+ BGs a day which can be time consuming to find if Mayhem isn't active.

Let's say you make like 5 levels of veterancy per day(which takes alot of hours for casuals like me who aren't "nerd efficient") that means you would make 840,000AP per day(lets just assume the boosts are all here and it just takes you less time to earn them) it would only take you 10 days of total playtime out of the 95 days we have remaining.

You can even be slower than this and earn one level per day and it would take you 50 days to get there from level 50. It's also much easier to get to 1-50 than it is to get from 50-100.

I think that... in retrospect, this is fine. 50 days for 50 levels.

Now this is assuming that you even have that much playtime, which us normie average workers do not always have that. I think the problem comes from how long you have to invest in both waiting to enter pvp, waiting to get to the places where AP ticks, and assuming that you have enough teammates to cap resources and keeps and defend your ground.

But i do think that 168k every other day is manageable for a semi regular pvper. Especially during Mayhem like there is right now.

I think it's honestly just a matter of how you want to spend your time in this game. If you want to spend all your current playtime getting there, that's what it'll take. You can't do other stuff, it *has* to be veterancy as a focus. Which the problem with that is that it takes away from you playing other parts of the game. People often underestimate how long it takes to do things in this game.

I agree, and also kinda disagree.

It's a big gap, and could do with a little bit of tweaking. But this also comes with Veterancy being aimed at PvPers. It's meant to last us 6 months. A lot of regular PvPers had it finished in the first couple of months.

Also, aside from two titles, ZoS have said everything will be returning some way. So if you don't reach rank 100 in 6 months, you're only missing two titles.

Finally, we get massive boosts from Whitestrakes (now four times a year) and Vengeance tests. I went from rank 90-100 during 8 hours of Vengeance testing, and I'm not good at PvP.

I'm not really a fan of PvP, but I want Style Pages from Veterancy rewards, so I created a "PvP build" for a few of my alt characters. To reach one level (after level 50), you need 4 (or 5—I don't remember exactly) daily wins (progress is better than just a win) in Battlegrounds. I’m a bad player, but “thanks” to that, I usually end up playing against other bad players, so it’s not that hard to get a daily win, switch character, and so on. If you’re not in a rush, gaining one level a day is totally doable. And as others have mentioned, thanks to this event that just started, it’s even better. I hope this event happens more often… And BTW, I personally play 4v4 competitive solo mode. It’s way better than the other BG *** shows.

fo rany person who actually takes part in pvp regulary in the game they will max it quick and its for them not the casual pve'er

I think it can depend on how often you play & how long. I’m level 75, but have been running solo for the last couple of weeks, and only play for a couple of hours in the evening.

If you struggle, either join a group, or learn to read the map & zone chat so can move to where needed. And do all the repeatable quests you can. Bonus scrolls will help too.
