Beta player here. My guild left and we hope to one day return bc we loved the game. But we do not love what it has become.

I don’t even need to go into specifics for PvP bc that horse has been beat so much it is sawdust now. Fix it

Story line. We came back to check it out and popped our head in to attempt to do the storyline second part for solstice and we immediately stopped when a guildy commented on a dialogue option that was available to her when talking with Darian who at the time was grieving for Gabriel. Her option was a flirt option. It was completely out of place and wrecked the immersion. It was bad writing. And yes. All of us literally logged off and left bc of that final straw. There were other straws I’ll list below. The guy Darian, our friend, we had done quests with and hard fights is sad, he is grieving a loss, we felt sad for him but oh no, some writer thought it was a good idea to flirt with him while in grief? That is a disconnect on a whole new level. Fix your story writing. We also saw the furniture package in the store with an AWESOME painting of Darian in armor but the very next one was him posing shirtless. ? What. Have you even played the story from base game till solstice? He never would have posed like that. You just wanted to sell a half naked dude pic. It would be like putting queen Arynn in a bikini. It is totally out of character.

Vestige - we had massive high hopes for “Old school craglorn type difficulty” with Vestige but no. Nobody wants to wear BIS and see little dps numbers. You could have made Vestige its own server and appropriately scaled it. We were all very disappointed in it. We wanted that timeframe in Craglorn where you saw a wasp on the side of the road by a nest and the group leader said “careful don’t pull it!” Bc they would decimate you and it wasn’t bc you hit for 3k even though you parsed for 135k.

Housing was and is still amazing. Ty for the furniture vault.

Ty for making class purity viable. Coming back I freshly parsed 135k in pure class.

Infinite archive- we ran it and still love it. Oh my gosh getting into duo and playing is by far so much fun. We made it to ARC 11-3-3 first try after being gone so long. My hands still hurt from the hours of playing. But it was epic. More duo content like that plz.

DLC dungs- we did them and liked them EXCEPT the mechanic requiring multiple players to stand or click stuff at the same time. Some players, like me like to get in 2 or 3 man groups and run VET dlc dungs and mechs like that stop us. Not everyone in a guild is available to run dungs and I don’t run with PUGs in Vet. It’s a preference. I’m not knocking others who run with Pugs, bless yall.

Is it possible to do size scaling? What I mean is, I read about solo dungeon running coming to the game. My question is why not scale the Vet to the size of the group since you scaled it to solo it shouldn’t be that difficult. Include Raids like that too maybe? I have duo’d or 3 manned every Vet dungeon in the game except those that require 4 people due to mechanics. I mean if you’re trying to get people to play by allowing more opportunity for group make ups then you are promoting that. I have done the leading of Raids in PVE and PVP, I would rather take my closest friends in and potato against a Vet Raid boss with 4 buds than run a full group. Just asking if it is even an option.

Regardless if this post doesn’t get deleted and I get suspended again I will be shocked. It always seemed that if you didn’t only say good great things about the game or its staff then you get a high chance at being suspended or banned. Hopefully that gets changed too bc an echo chamber is dangerous. You want to make money and I want to spend money on content that is fun and not broken.
