Werewolf Ultimate Drain

At its core, we’ve made sweeping changes that should align towards making the transformation more fluid, easier to sustain and manage, with more overall potential build craft and support.

The above line was in week one of the PTS which brought about the werewolf changes we are now currently enjoying. While I GREATLY appreciate the drain being turned off outside of combat, within combat it is literally impossible to maintain form as a zerker or non-morphed werewolf if you either have no corpses to devour or happen to lose form at any point due to the ultimate drain. The werewolf "ultimate" can not be reached within the time frame provided with the remaining ultimate after transforming. Mathematically impossible.

The ultimate drain for solo zerker and non-morphed needs to be further reduced in order for it to be at all viable for play alone. Prior to this patch, I had zero issues maintaining a solo berserker wolf even outside of combat (thanks to ravage health potions), as the time given back exceeded the time consumed. As such, I suggest the following: Ultimate drain should be equal to, or lower than, the amount of Ultimate that can be generated through passive ultimate generation via light attacks or blocking. This change would bring back at least the base quality of life we had before the change to chew through ultimate like crazy.

Yes, I am aware it is incentivised to run with other werewolves, but it wasn't necessary before as long as one had a steady source of outgoing damage and (at least as it stands right now), that passive straight up does not work in Battlegrounds.

Werewolf has never required a set to maintain werewolf form as a solo berserker. Ever.

Yes, but now is a lot stronger and the tradeoff for using a morph tha have more DPS is having less ultimate sustain, sounds fair to me

I could get on board with that line of thinking but packleader has better form sustain, utility, and defense.

I'm very much in the camp of 3 WW form and ability morphs to spread some of the the power around as well provide more build options.

So because berserker sucks, the tank morph (tank in this game typically focuses on self-sustain and group buffs) should be hit???

Berserker bleed shouldn’t be 1 second, end of story. You pick berserker for more damage but you’re squishy (and incentivized to run with at least one Packleader). This accomplished nearly nothing in optimized scenarios while making maintaining the bleed ridiculously unforgiving in any other scenario.

So then choose the other morph? Why on Earth, when people are already complaining about WW, would it get buffed?

If there aren't enough corpses in combat, make them!

Not sure where I asked for a buff, I specifically requested the power get split between different 3 different morphs.

    Berserker: Damage/Speed

Nobody is asking for a buff, just that we be allowed to exist as our chosen (sub-)class. Imagine if, because someone chose a "damage" DK they would randomly lose access to all of their class abilities because they either didn't group up with enough other DKs or wear a set specifically to be a "damage" DK.

There are tons of way to sustain ultimate to stay in ww form besides eating corpses.
It's a 1 bar "class" with most buffs passively baked in, it should have at least 1 resource to manage.

Explain to me how to maintain a solo berserker without relying on grouping up, a specific set, or eating corpses then. Just being active in combat was enough before.

Tell me you haven't played Berserker Wolf without telling me. You can be actively engaged in combat and just lose form. Berserker Wolf is doesn't do that much more damage than pack leader for the same build. The trade off isn't worth it in my opinion. This so-called "encouragement for group play" is really a just a penalty for solo play.
