At its core, we’ve made sweeping changes that should align towards making the transformation more fluid, easier to sustain and manage, with more overall potential build craft and support.
The above line was in week one of the PTS which brought about the werewolf changes we are now currently enjoying. While I
GREATLY appreciate the drain being turned off outside of combat, within combat it is
literally impossible to maintain form as a zerker or non-morphed werewolf if you either have no corpses to devour or happen to lose form at any point due to the ultimate drain. The werewolf "ultimate" can not be reached within the time frame provided with the remaining ultimate after transforming. Mathematically impossible.
The ultimate drain for solo zerker and non-morphed needs to be further reduced in order for it to be at all viable for play alone. Prior to this patch, I had zero issues maintaining a solo berserker wolf even outside of combat (thanks to ravage health potions), as the time given back exceeded the time consumed. As such, I suggest the following: Ultimate drain should be equal to, or lower than, the amount of Ultimate that can be generated through passive ultimate generation via light attacks or blocking. This change would bring back at least the base quality of life we had before the change to chew through ultimate like crazy.
Yes, I am aware it is incentivised to run with other werewolves, but it wasn't necessary before as long as one had a steady source of outgoing damage and (at least as it stands right now), that passive straight up does not work in Battlegrounds.
