Imperial Fragments: The Grind Of Using Them

Imperial Fragments (IF), I had a bucketload of them. Having made my way through Veterancy Ranks, I now have a truckload of them.

I am long passed the point of needing to buy any of the Style Pages, Motifs, Set Pieces (Dungeons), and Monster Shoulders. I suspect many longtime players are in the same boat.

The only thing left to purchase that wouldn't be a waste are the various Imperial Crafting Trunks/Cases/Pouches. These cost 20 IF each and they are unique items.

This means only one can be held at a time. So to go through a couple of thousand IFs, being 100 trunks etc, requires:

Interact with vendor
Purchase one
Open Inventory
Open trunk etc.
Close Inventory
Repeat 99 more times

A simple solution would be to remove the unique flag on the purchases so that they stack.

A more complex solution would be to have more pricey variants that give multiples of the base one. e.g. 20, 50, 100, 250, 500 with the 500 giving 25 times the drops of the 20.

Or even a mix of the two solutions. Either way it needs a solution, especially if IFs are going to be given as rewards in Veterancy or elsewhere.

PS. The unique flag on IA Archival Maps should also be removed so that they stack.

i dont think this is the only container that has that issue

i think several things from the infinite archive suffer the same issue (treasure map boxes, craft material bags, etc)

i think i have 5000+ imperial fragments because i havent needed them for years, and i used to sell the actual fragment drops we used to get but since those got removed i dont pay attention to them anymore lol

Yep, I've got 11k and I'd love to be able to use them to buy ingredients but every time I tried to go through that grind I got tired after a few hundred spent. Please fix this!

I have over 5k, even if I bought all the Nibense Style Page that come from them it would only take 360, and that's assuming I even want them (haven't looked at the Style) or that I'd want all six. I've had the full Xivkyn Motif for years, and none of the Shoulders are appealing. Perhaps offering more things that could be bought using them would also help.

But not having to limit them to one purchase, open, one purchase, open, one purchase, would 1000% also help. I don't get why we still have stuff like this that prevents us from having multiples of the item. I'm sure it can't be too hard to code them so each iteration has something like <item ID> and then a tag added like AA, AB, AC, if you get through the As move on to BA, BB, BC...mind you I know nothing of coding so I'm not saying tack any ole random number at the end. I'm just saying it can't be hard to have an item ID for the whole thing and then an individual item code for each thing.

Kind of like how something like Jubilee or Zenithar Boxes work. They don't stack but you can have however many of each as you have room in your inventory for. It can't be hard to have the general item ID and then specific item ID for individual items because they already do it.
