Yea WW is ridiculous right now.

I've never liked playing WW but I will be making one now after playing a BGS with 3 WWs on each team.

The combo of tankiness, movement speed, sustain, and damage is insane.

At least with DKs, you can get away from them for the most part.

See, thats not underperforming or outdated. There Will never be balance across pvp in this game, never has been.

Are you implying that any build that isn't a werewolf or DK this patch is under performing or outdated?

Of course they are, common sense in fact. Both DK and WW have been reworked, Wait for the other classes too be done.

Vampire has also been reworked. Does that mean vampire is meta?

Rework doesn't necessarily mean meta, or overperforming, or even performing decently.

DK and WW sympathizers only argument is "everyone else will catch up" but the Vampire case shows that this is not necessarily true. They might catch up, but they also might end up in a similar position to vampires. Power imbalances should still be called out where they exist, even with the class reworks coming.

DK and WW are both problem areas right now.

Mist form was king for a very long time, dont even attempt too bring vampire up.

It was the undeath passive more than it was mist form, but you're right that being a vampire was "king" for a long time.

In fact, I think the old vampire before the rework is a perfect example to bring up in this instance for 2 reasons that are relevant to Werewolf today:

    1. Almost everyone was a vampire because it offered too strong of a power allotment to player builds, even if they did not use vampire active skills. Because of this, it was eventually adjusted to be more in balance with other playstyles. Currently, the popularity of DK and Werewolf rival that of the popularity of vampires before the rework. This could be indicative of these two playstyles needing to be adjusted to be brought more in balance with other playstyles.

    2. Werewolf and DK players right now are saying that they are only dominant because their skill lines have been reworked, and that they shouldn't be nerfed because all the other classes will "catch up" to their power level after their respective reworks. The vampire skill line has also already been reworked, however, and vampires are nowhere near as powerful as DKs or Werewolves. The vampire case exists as evidence that just because a skill line is reworked does not mean it will become dominant, and supports the claim that DKs and Werewolves are overperforming right now and need adjustment.

The good news is that most of the players defending WW and DK aren't notable in the slightest. Wait, it's pretty much all of them at least the ones that play on PC NA and EU. I've seen them in PvP on more than one face and they've disappointed me when I was and wasn't firing siege.

Once things equalize, I can see them complaining that what they use needs a buff. Just like the guys claiming they need a buff for Oakensoul elsewhere in PvE then somehow shifting it to PvP because "no one uses it" so they can further buff their WW and DK builds.

You can't honestly be making the argument that vampire is just as strong as DK or Werewolf right now because it synergizes well with one particular, niche build.

The number of DKs and Werewolves vastly outnumber the number of Vampire Stamsorcs, and this is representative of the overwhelming dominance that DK and Werewolf builds have over vampires.

I mean if anything they need to increase the skill cost on WW by a lot. That would be a considerable fix.

    Base values of skills:

    Pounce is 1007 > increase to 3553
    Fortitude is 4005 > increase to 4568
Ferocious roar is 1007 > increase to 3553
Rip and tear is 719 > increase to 2538
Rending claws is 935 > increase to 3299

This would be put all skill cost in line and balanced with every other skill cost that functions similarly in the game.

It would be, but then WW players couldn't freely adjust their builds and specialize when they have to consider sustain. So you know they will come out in full force and claim WW is special. WW is different. WW is in a unique situation.
