They would have had enough damage to kill me during the port animation.Fix was introduced to stop griefing literally everybody abused, it must not be reverted because of one troll appeared once and because you have not learned how to play in 5 years.

Imagine being unable to port out of sticky situation from Cyro by queuing out of it because some people didn't like people doing so and wanted similar 'if you have 100 AP, you cannot queue out' limitations. Yikes.
Except that you can't port when in safe areas either, where you can't be attacked either way. There's no reason to keep someone from porting out where they won't lose any TV regardless. If you played early IC, then you should know it is the same now as it was before. Teleport via Cyrodiil is a "feature" which was finally fixed. With ability to teleport in combat, simply anybody can escape any unwanted situation and save telvars, it became a coward's meta, even in YT videos players told to install an addon to teleport from fights. Is it a fair fight?
About your situation: with tp stone you can leave even in combat. With unstoppable potion it is impossible to interrupt it, and if they troll played fat no damage build in noCP - they most likely could not kill you while you are porting out with tp stone. EZ.

Ah absolute bull crap. I have builds that can literally not be killed in IC, block tanks that don´t die unless 20 people with negates and sieges beat on you. Now I could just put ele sus and some speed on, go out there and find some solo or duo players and grief them to let me kill them to get their Tel Var, while they have no counter whatsoever. If you played for 10 years, you should know that it is how IT was designed supposed to be played. The ability to bail of the fight by queuing is just exploiting of convenience feature. If you're in IC without a fat Tel Var stack on you, then accept death and move on with your stuff, you have nothing to lose anyway. If you're in IC to farm Tel Vars, then fight for them and be ready to be ganked, it's a PvP zone, you can't expect to have safety and reward at the same time.
Exactly this, I´m simply not going there anymore, unless I have a stacked group. Why would I? It´s even worse now then it was in the past.IC will be dead soon because of horrible decisions made by the devs because of whiney PvPers that like to exploit abilities and sets and harass others.
This is an exploit that the devs never INTENDED on happening, it's like using sneak pots to camp ladders and quests, the devs NEVER INTENDED for people to do that, but it happens, and people like you will make the argument that it is intended because it allows you to exploit things that were NEVER INTENDED to be used like it's being used.

Someone on a sorc actually griefing me and a friend by constantly spamming elemental susceptibility on us, while wearing imperial physique with 45k+ hp, constantly rolling, streaking and running around the environment. All of that in no CP Imperial City, so after the recent changes that you can´t port out while having Tel Var on you there was literally no way to escape besides either giving in and letting them kill us or to keep trying to kill them.
Eventually, after like 30 minutes of infuriatingly chasing them/getting chased by them we managed to kill them and could port out but it ruined the evening for both us. I even whispered that person to stop but they didn´t care. So yeah, changing it to that you cannot port out anymore with Tel Var on you made the place worse by a lot. People are able to literally griefe and hold you hostage just by using ele sus and then running and there´s little counter play if they build for that kind of playstyle.
I honestly disagree with OP. I know it can be frustrating to face gankers, especially when tel var is on the line, but IC is a PvP zone and it is not okay that people can just randomly teleport away from tricky situations without sacrificing resources. Just imagine you are killing a boss and it despawns before you can finish itIf you at least burn an unstoppable potion and a keep recall (which is still an option as @imPDA ) then it is okayish, but having a free "ezbb" button is lame.

Does that sound fun to you? Is that your definition of good PvP? Where does it lead if people just "accept" death in that situation. It even encourages this rotten behaviour.Exactly this, I´m simply not going there anymore, unless I have a stacked group. Why would I? Yeah, after it stopped being new content for the majority of playerbase, IC pretty much died and the change didn't really help much either. Why would it? Who does it help to begin with?

It's for the griefers. I was exercising on my bike and a guy literally fought me for 2 hours just to try and kill me. I was riding my bike and laughing the whole time. When he finally killed me he got 100 Tel Var. He messaged "seriously? " and spammed profanity because I "wasted his time".
He wasted his own time. I was going to roll on that bike for 2 hours regardless, and playing the game is a distraction from the pain generated doing it. But I do have to admit, it was a little more entertaining than firing siege. Especially his irate response.
ZOS loves making changes that increase toxicity. For what reason? We'll never know.
Imagine calling people who do PvP in a PvP zone griefers.

IC is a PvP enabled zone. Big difference.
In Cyrodiil, there is a clear goal to attack and defend keeps and resources. The whole campaign is built around that premise. Without players engaging in PvP(AvA) the entire premise falls apart.
In IC, absolutely nothing changes if players don't engage in PvP. It's a PvE zone with PvP enabled. That very much opens the door to griefers.
