Can't Select Furniture + NPCs Conning White

Not sure if this is a bug or if I've screwed up something on my end, but I can't select most furnishings when in the housing menu. If I use the right D-Pad to select something else then sometimes I can select that. A storage crate is fine but a plant, rug or crafting station won't select. I'm also noticing that NPCs are suddenly conning white. Not sure if these two are related. Anyone else?

ZomZom✭✭✭To update, the white NPCs issue was corrected by toggling "Prevent attacking innocents." I received this response regarding the furniture placement issue after opening a ticket:The issue you are experiencing with house furnishings is known. A fix for the behavior is being worked on for a future update to the game.
Hopefully the wait won't be too long for a fix. Anyone else having this issue?0
