Bitten Chew Bone can be consumed beyond the maximum for no effect

I already have Skill Stylist III: Werewolf Form completed from eating 10 Bitten Chew Bones, but I was able to eat an 11th bone which had no effect. I expected the game to prevent me from consuming it. You can see I have the maximum unlocked here because my character is using the white style with Werewolf Berserker markings when I clicked the bone:

Did you actually manage to farm these in two days or did you buy the remaining ones off other players? I'm asking because I thought those would only drop once per day and therefore I did not grind the encounter.

I bought them from me, myself, and I, for 0 gold each. Yes, I mean alt accounts, just doing the one guaranteed per day.

Anything on this? I also did the same thing just by accident today and looked at my achievements to make sure there wasn't anything else for consuming these or if it was character vs account wide. Guess just a glitch since I have 10/10 already.

Surely you're going to let people know long before U51?

Warn them? Put a disclaimer on the tool tip? And what about compensating people who bought more than they need, or used more than they need? And who will continue to use more?
