this cheese quest says make or gather cheese throughout tamriel but its only making cheese items picking up cheese does not count but thats what it sounds like

✭I have not gotten this quest yet. On the ESO Reddit this was discussed today, and someone said they finished the quest by crafting Port Hunding Cheese Fries.0 -
16BitForestCat✭✭✭✭✭I always have Firsthold Fruit and Cheese Plate already in my inventory for daily writs, and this ended up counting for the quest without having to make anything, or I might've been confused by the whole "it just wants straight-up cheese" thing. The only annoying part was picking up the quest, dropping the snacks off in the same zone but another town, and then having to come back to Ebonheart to turn it in. Seemed like an unnecessary extra step to keep me in game just that little bit longer.—PC/NA, never Steam—
