You'd think people would just be happier that there isn't any maintenance today.
You've clearly missed the point. No-one is saying a lack of a maintenance is a bad thing. They are saying a lack of notice about this is a bad thing. People plan their game time around maintenances. I woke up this morning and expected I'd get half an hour of game time before it was shut down. Instead, it continued. If I hadn't decided to do that, I'd still assume maintenance was going on right now, as it's meant to do, meaning I'm skipping time I've paid for while the server was actually up. The lack of maintenance can be due to many things. Whether or not the delay is good is up to the reasoning behind it. The sole issue people are having is the fact that Zenimaz is keeping us in the dark about it, despite earlier promises to uphold even the most basic standards of informing your players of what is happening.
I think this thread brings up a relevant point: clarity.
The Server Status forum thread should not have been moved because it was in plain site as some people want to come in and look at the server status (includes maintenance) and not have to dig through different forums to find it.
By the way, what happened to dev tracker? I don't see it anymore or do I need to dig around for that too? Well, too late. I'm bored and frustrated with all this digging around to find topics.
Also, it would be nice if you made announcements when you don't do maintenance either. It's called consistency and its something customers like. People don't like guessing and having to remember someone else's schedule.
It would be greatly appreciated if you could put the Server Status back to where it was before the reconfig of the forums.
