Rogue's Refuge is awesome! (Don't read if you'd rather be surprised.)

I acquired Rogue's Refuge yesterday and looked it over and thought it was a normal looking house, if a bit dark. But today I looked at it better and started moving some things around and found some things I didn't notice the first time.
First was the "secret door" feature. It was open so I thought I'd close it to see what it looked like, but I did so from inside the room, and while it had a cool animation it was just a door. Then I closed it from outside the room and discovered from this side it's a bookcase! With no indication that there is a room behind it!
Then I moved the Breton Writing Desk, Knotwork and once it was placed I was putting things on top of it and accidentally clicked the desk... and the top opened and there were shelves inside and we can put things inside it and close it again!
I don't know if there are any more surprises but I will certainly give it a good looking over!
I am blown away with how these things really added to the Rouge feel. Good job!

Both items you mentioned are also could be crafted - they are from new Breton plans added to game lately. Though drop rate is terrible as always, I hope one day they'll become more available

I wish the one from the heist was as cheap as the one form the encounters. But, understandably, that is not going to be the case now.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭What isn't naff is the Rogue's Refuge house and furnishings. I was so excited by this desk that opens that I logged in later just to make my friend come look at it. ellmarie✭✭✭✭Got the house today. So glad it didn't take me all the heists, but I will keep doing them for that achievement as well. My last couple were pretty easy thankfully.
I did run Moongrave Fane yesterday and got the last lead for the Shadow Queens Cowl and now my thief's build is complete. It does make a difference. At least I've been running through them in good time.

I'm planning to make a crypt as well provided that the fragment from heists decides to drop for me. No luck so far.0 -
Galatherys✭✭Not a fan of heists, but it’s a great house!! Not too big, not too small, it’s a great atmosphere.
My problem with it is how the crypt level is so visible from the outside that as soon as you enter or exit via the front gate that it breaks the immersion if you’ve decorated the exterior…but that’s more of a nitpick issue for an otherwise very fun house to decorate : )
