Racing Into Nowhere

I'm sure lots are having issues with this Thieves Guild quest. I haven't heard anyone say anything about the quest being stuck in the Nowhere Vault right after turning the Dwemer Valves and walking through the portal into the room. I'm supposed to talk to Seline Menant and she is no where in the room but I hear her talking. I've done every possible thing to try to fix it. Rebooted about times in between fix-its. I've dumped the quest, left Glenumbra completely, shut off the game for 20 minutes, relogged, picked the quest back up, deleted caches, did /unstuck and /camp and /reloadui, retried the next day. Nothing seems to fix it. Is anyone having this same issue in this part of the quest?

Extremely bad quest dialogue in this instance, she asks for you to "come here" and discuss the outcome, which you cannot do at that point .. all they had to do was have her say "up here! tell me what you think", and there would have been no problem.

Or you just try to locate where her voice is coming from.

Yeah, I was confused by that part, as well. It took me a few minutes to finally notice her up above, and realize I could position myself to get a prompt for speaking with her.

Aside from the quest I failed by getting killed by the Daggerfall guards (which I dropped and played through again), the only time I experienced an actual bug was inside the vault, when the enemy howled and I was supposed to catch the moon. The game appeared to freeze, like when I get disconnected in Vivec City (or somewhere else packed with players) but my client is still running, so I'm able to walk around but everyone else is standing still and I can't interact with anything, then I finally get kicked out of the game and must log my character back in. I don't know if it was just a wild coincidence of timing, but that happened right when the enemy howled, and I walked around for nearly a minute trying to find a way to progress the scene, since I couldn't tell if I'd lost connection or if everything was working "as intended," but I finally got an error message and got kicked out of the game. When I logged back in, everything seemed to work correctly the second time.
I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!

I also experienced what you said about the game freezing and disconnecting during the Racing into Nowhere quest when the enemy howled. And then when I logged back in, I was unable to interact with anything, and could not catch the moon, even though I was standing inside the green circle on the ground. I ended up having to restart my PS5 console (PS/NA), and then when I started the game and logged in, I was able to complete the quest.

Same issue, game stood still when he howled. Had to log out and back in to continue.
