I would think so. In any case, I'm not going to waste any treasure maps until the devs check whether it's bugged or not. The drop rate that we see described in this thread does not match what the devs said in the stream about their goal of the keys not being too rare.

If you find an Unformed Planar key then put it in the bank. You can lose it doing the TG quests if you get caught by guards.

Mine was from a thieves troves. Others have gotten from Dynamic encounters.

PC/EU Not had a single one. I've finished the new Thieves quests, been doing dailies, raiding every lockbox and treasure chest I see doing as many dynamics as I can for two solid days and nada. Came here because I thought I'd got it wrong and they weren't even dropping yet lol.

You literally have to collect 10 of them for.the season reward. What do you mean we aren't supposed to grind them out? Ive gotten 1 in 58 Dynamic Events. So am i supposed to do 580 of them over the course of the season with a 30 min timer between them?

Noticed something very odd earlier, I only got one 'Unformed Planar Key' earlier in the week, dropped it in my bank and since then never had any such item drop - but last night I noticed the tome quest track said I had found 3 of the ten required, despite never getting another Unformed Planar Key item - and this morning, after doing several treasure map chests, thieves troves and standard unlockable chests on the overland map, the total I have according to the tome is now 4 - but again, no item in the inventory.

Maybe somehow the game thinks you have found one but doesn't actually add the inventory item, just increases the tome count for them?

@AureliusLH from what I am reading and hearing is every time you put the key in your bank or remove it from your bank it adds to your count even though you haven’t gotten any new ones.

That's not been my experience, the key went in the bank once, was taken out again once, and that did not seem to change the total shown in the tome listing.

I've spent nearly 30 hours of gameplay running around opening thieves throves and digging up treasure chest and lockpicking chests, only to get 2 keys..

That's not cool, guys.. And IF the challenge CAN'T be completed before the Nowhere Vault Event, DON'T bloody put it in game until then.

I'm really starting to consider to walk away from ESO.. There's to much buggy launches, and half baked content.
Especially when everybody (as would be expected) throws themselves on the new content.
(I'm looking at you "Sneak through this area without being noticed and not kill anyone, while everyone is running left and right, killing guards" )

I got 2 Nowhere Keys in the new quest, but it didn't count on Seasonal Challenges. Other than those 2 I didn't find more.

Those don't count towards the tome challenge. Since those 2 are considered part of the quest and are used as part of the story.

But it wasn't a Glenumbra map.

I've completed the TG quest line, I've engaged with the content multiple times on multiple toons. I've played the heck out of it and I've enjoyed it, but I still haven't gotten one single key. Not the first one and I've already achieved Folk Hero status. It has to be a bug, right?

I’ve got 5 keys so far. Two dropped from treasure map chests (Cyrodil and High Isle) and three dropped on the same day from the “Favour” quests

I have found 2 from treasure maps on two different days. I stuck them both in the bank. When I looked at the tome challenge and it shows I have found 6. I only stuck both of them in the bank once, I didn't pull them out and put them back. Definitely a glitch, unless the three you find when doing the new thieves guild quest line, which I have completed, suddenly showed up as being found.
Now sure what is going on here.

I have 2 on Xbox EU, 1 on a lvl Baby Toon from a Bethnik Treasure Map, 1 from, i have non Idea

On XBox NA where i play most(EU 1 to 2 hours, NA 4+ hours daily) i have 0. My Tip, dont try to grind for them, loooks like they dont like if you grind. Jokes aside, clarification would be nice
