New thief guild quest, how to get all the stuff in the mansion?

After you steal the book in the mansion, Queen and you split ways and your told to steel bonus items. But I always end up getting caught here, except the first time I did the quest.
Is it on timer? Last time I was caught while none could see me, I just used blade of woe on a cartel member and half a second later I got caught
Khajiit with two stealth sets, so practically undetectable.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

    2) There is a bug, which when interacting with the bonus loot takes you out of stealth. Slated to be fixed in U51.
Thanks, with drop the quest and try again, and I noted I get taken out of stealth. its why I used the blade of woe

    A few items in there.

First, yes, you're on a timer. It's 2m10s and it starts when Quen stops to grab something off the dead skeever or whatever that thing is. You probably want to be at the exit panel when her dialogue fires to get the full timer.

I don't recall being able to grab all three pieces without using the Blade of Woe, but being a vampire with the Dark Stalker passive or wearing gear which removes stealth movement penalties helps a lot. There are a couple of torch guards you can avoid if you're careful and speedy. To get away cleanly, you need to interact with the exit door with at least a second left on the timer. It doesn't matter if those last two thugs detect you after interacting, but you need to be undetected at the time you interact. If they detect you before interacting, you have to win that fight before the timer runs out.

When the timer runs out, you will be automatically detected and stunned by Urfan (you can get your comeuppance later) and any of the three items in your inventory will be removed. I tested that particular scenario last night: all three items in inventory, undetected, and about 20 seconds left on the timer, but I stayed in stealth rather than rushing the door just to see what happened.
I'm fresh out of outrage, but I could muster up some amused annoyance if required.

I was able to get all of the loot and escape. There was dialogue about it, but idk if it actually did anything.

I did the quest again, now noticing the timer and was able to get all the items.
And an Khajiit in stealth gear and ring of wild hunt, they have serious problems detecting me.
But blade of woe has an detection radius to

Looks like nothing really, better quality of the curated Bahraha's Curse set.
I hoped it would be something more like an achievement or something

This is what worked for me:

    1. Guard by the idol in the first room: wait for the torch guard to path most of the way to the door, BoW the stationary guard, snag the idol, avoid the torch guard's return path, and transition to the next area.
    2. Go right, BoW the kneeling thug (no one nearby to detect it anyway), snag the Varla Stone.
    3. Wait for the torch guard to return to the stationary guard in front of the fireplace and face away from you, go behind them and around the corner, BoW the stationary guard and snag the vase before the torch guard returns.
    4. Up the stairs and hug the wall in front of you to get to the exit door, hopefully without aggro'ing the two nearby thugs.

Do it neat and clean (or not-so-clean) and Urfan and her pets are the only thing between you and the real exit.

Not much. You get a purple curated Baraha's Curse coffer if you grabbed all three items and grabbing all three seems to be what's required to have the Prowler's Talisman returned to you (it's removed after talking to Basil). Less than three and it's a blue coffer and no Talisman, but you can get it by talking to the Talisman Expert up above after finishing the mission with Quen.

Arrgh, I didn’t see a timer so I wondered what was going on. I was too busy watching everything in the room carefully and trying to pick up bonus items. Then there was suddenly an explosion and black smoke and everyone on me.

Checked and you still had the Prowler's Talisman quest item after getting caught.
It will be converted to the real items during the quest, but it might delay you getting it

Reasonably accurate. The Talisman is a quest item until the quest completes (talking to Basil and then talking to Quen to turn it in), so it's not removed if you're caught. The three items are optional quest objectives, however, and it says so in the on-screen hints. The real objective is getting out and that one is no-fail unless you can't get past Urfan for some reason.

The Talisman is removed from player inventory regardless of anything else when you talk to Basil at the end. The quest conditions seem to be "all three objects collected = Talisman as a quest reward" and it doesn't matter whether you're caught or not, or "less than three objects = take a few seconds to get it from Mylen," and it also doesn't matter whether you're caught or not. There is a strongly implied "awwww, did you lose your mythic? Here it is and try not to lose it again, m'kay?" when talking to Mylen.

Yes, one new change is that you can not just teleport out of restricted areas like in the thief guild or dark brotherhood.
But zooming out from instance view to city or zone will crash the UI, but might be an mod issue

You can probably port to cyrodiil.

Now that was an good idea  but I did not mind the change. My issue is that if you zoom out past the interior view the UI hangs. You can not close it or zoom in again so reloadui.
