@R_K Thank you SO MUCH for everything you've done for the housing community Cardi. You've brought so many incredible creations and features... but most importantly... you've helped nurture the familial nature that is the housing community. Through your *direct* communication with housing guilds (like DDA!), ZoS got something incredibly valuable: their gamers telling them what they wanted (and what they'd pay for!). I think that losing you will be far more of a loss than just on the dev side. I don't think they understand just how pivotal you are to the little things people don't always think about.

Housing in ESO and the housing community simply will not be the same without you. And I mean in so, SO many different facets. I'm so sad to see that you were a part of the cuts, it's heartbreaking, truly.

I just wanted to say that I have seen your replies (and received your messages) and I am so touched by everything. I cannot stress this enough: the caring, support and general sense of community here is what has made ESO so special.

You all, without a doubt, have been the highlight of my career as a software engineer and, as I think many of you know, you all have been my reason to get up and go to work each day (and why I have loved every minute of it).

So, just to keep this brief:
Thank you for giving me more than I could have ever hoped to have given to you all. The opportunity to build things for you and to champion your requests and Housing as a system has been the opportunity of a lifetime. I wish you all the best.

(and, I promise that I will try to get back to you as quickly as I can!)

Ever since Summerset went live, my wife, our son, and I have spent so very many hours decorating our houses. Everything from our Psijic Villas, our Alpine Galleries, and our many, many other homes that we've bought or earned over the years. Your add-on has been essential to our enjoyment of decorating. Our houses wouldn't be as well- or as thoroughly decorated without your awesome work.

When I first heard about the layoffs, I was worried for the state of the game and hoped you weren't on the list. A week later, and I'm still heartbroken to learn that you were included. I've struggled to find the words to say that haven't already been said by others. I was touched every time you messaged me when one of my homes got recommended on home tours, and I still have homes I'd love for you to come look at. I hope that this doesn't put you off playing the game entirely, and that you take up offers from other addon devs to host EHT. The guest book could be a double-edged sword if people aren't signing it for whatever reason, but at the end of the day, if the means to continue hosting it exists, that outweighs other considerations. Take care, and you can message me or find the other homes on house tours.
