Prowler's Talisman not granted

I've completed Codex Caper quest and gained access to the quest boards in the Daggerfall Thieves Guild. But the Prowler's Talisman was not granted. Yes I searched all inventories, and Set Collections - nothing.

I've submitted a Customer Service ticket, but wanted to post here for others who may have this issue. I think it happens to people who do NOT go through ALL of Quen's dialogue options at the end of Codex Caper.

While in the den go up and talk to Mylen. Should have an option to get new one

The quest should still be fixed to grant when completed, even if you don't explore ALL of the dialogue options.

I had the same problem and didn't even notice it for a few hours, but like someone else said, the Talisman NPC can give it back to you if you don't have it. It's lucky the NPC exists, but yeah, it's a common problem I hear

Not a fan of an NPC chiding me for "losing" something I was never given.

If your game is so broken you have to put in an NPC to "give back" what was never granted, that's BAD.

Honestly, after almost a year of the most crappy RNG, if I wasn't a GM I'd delete the game. So tired of seeing everyone boast about what they're getting, and I get 3-5 2k Theives Guild pages per day.

I believe there is a hidden trigger in the last part of the mansion. From the time you pick up the Talisman in the strongroom and up until you talk to Basil at the conclusion of the mission, the Talisman is in your inventory (it's under Quest Items). Then you get to the dialogue with Basil where it is removed from your inventory.

If you collected all three of the bonus loot items on the way out and didn't get caught by the timer, then the Talisman is returned to you by Quen. So here are the three four conditions I've been able to check thus far:
    1. mansion completed within the time limit and all three bonus loot items collected means getting the Talisman as the quest reward (checked and verified)
    2. mansion completed within the time limit and less than three bonus items collected means having to collect it from Mylen (checked and verified)
    3. mansion not completed within the time limit (caught and rescued by Basil) and fewer than three of the bonus items collected means having to collect it from Mylen (checked and verified)
    4. mansion not completed within the time limit (caught and rescued by Basil) and all three of the bonus items collected means you get the Talisman as the quest reward (and the purple reward coffer, surprisingly enough) (checked and verified)

What I still don't know is the difference between collecting 1 or 2 of the bonus items; it's probably no difference (talk to Mylen either way), nor do I know if the Talisman is still in your possession after being rescued by Basil. The Talisman is not removed from inventory if you are caught and remains in your possession until talking to Basil.

Short version: collect all three bonus items and get the Talisman as the quest reward, collect fewer than three of the bonus items as a quest reward and you'll have to get it from Mylen. Getting caught or not doesn't seem to affect anything other than having the bonus items removed from your inventory if you're caught.

I'm fresh out of outrage, but I could muster up some amused annoyance if required.
