Noi motivated to try the Thieves Guild content

I don't know why but I'm just not interested in looking at the new thieves guild content. I keep thinking it's going to be tasks, fetch quests, and group content that will require huge parties. Or just waste hours of time for nothing of value or have no content or add anything to the already established TG quest line. Anyone worked through this and felt it's more like content or just more of night market stuff. Also, I admit I'm burned out from the grind of last season and not motivated to complete the weekly and seasonal challenges either.

"Just not interested" is on you. Can't help with that.

Tasks? Yep, several of those. Fetch quests? Yep, a couple. Group content? Nope, nary a one. "Waste of time for nothing of value" really depends on what you value and what you don't (another "on you" issue). Adds anything to the already established TG quest line? No, not much. Quen has some dialogue which leaves the door open to other stuff down the road, but the Daggerfall guild story is mostly a one-and-done story quest like the other story quests. It can be repeated with multiple characters, but it's otherwise a one-time thing.

You get an interesting mythic out of it. I don't think it's going to make anyone's meta gear list, but it's interesting and has its uses.
I'm fresh out of outrage, but I could muster up some amused annoyance if required.

It's also an onboarding introduction to the upcoming Nowhere Vault.

I'm not super interested either and that's just because I've had a falling out with questing. Doesn't mean the content is bad.

You know I think it may be my issue as well. It feels like a big time burnout. Too much grind and I feel like I'm playing something outside an Elder Scrolls game and not enjoying it like I did before and as much as I do the single player games. I still do some daily stuff and wander a bit but it's different somehow.

I feel you. I’ve been playing this game for too long and my interests have shifted over time from questing to progression. I’ve been playing Skyrim recently and it’s been nice, I think a major part of that is how long it has been since I’ve played it regularly. I used to have more whimsy in ESO but that slowly melted away over the years.

It's an amazing questline with lots of fun. Not just tasks but really cool quests with some surprises. They very different from past quests. The tasks are dailies and not part of the big main TG guests.

There are great rewards too so i suggest doing them but afcourse it's upto you.

For me, it lacked the zing of night market content and group content. Still, I'm glad solo players got so much stuff.

Still, it's a nice, chill thing to log into and relax a little. I enjoyed Walks-Softly's story and the khajiti lady's.

I did a recent playthrough of a modded Skyrim and the experience even with fan-made content was truly amazing! I feel like the content drifted a lot recently post Elsweyr and seriously so in the last year. I don't know the impact on ES: VI from the mass layoffs at ZOS but I'm really feeling crushed and sad about this.

I don't know how viable this is but if something goes pear-shaped (or more than it already has) I hope / wish they could open ESO up for fan-made content and mods. Or even, -gasp- Akatosh forbid, release it to the public if they can't / won't maintain it.

Yeah, not Zerith-Var levels of great writing, but decent enough to fill a few hours and gain an interesting mythic item. Not sure about the other stuff leading up to the full-on Nowhere Vault event, but more TG and Quen were worth the time. That can be had without a need to grind out keys and achievements if a player doesn't feel it.

I burned myself out for the time being.

After supposedly becoming more mellow for things like not needing to login for daily login rewards I ended up really tiring myself out on faction grind for Night Market and weekly tome tasks, then a PVP grind. Engagement was high on my part but not sustainable so need a bit of a cooldown myself which is understandable.

I’d prefer to wait until the crowds die down to do this. Having 30 players surrounding the quest giver does nothing for my immersion.

I have to admit that I am not looking forward to doing heists again for the house fragments and whatever else. I got the achievement for those back in the day and don’t care to ever do them again.

Actually that's right, the Zerith-Var questline was incredible and I really enjoyed it!

I think there was a lot to celebrate with Zerith-Var and the quality in those stories. I was more excited for the game when I played that since the Elsweyr chapter. I want this game to succeed but I just can't see this happening with this kind of content and focus. It's heading toward a Fallout 76 approach and, I'm very sorry, but look at what has happened there. I'm a technical person in the software industry and I can say with confidence that just about nowhere would have patients with a company not able to deliver. There are likely many reasons for this but it's still a problem.

Anyway, I'll get to the content when my burnout passes and I'll judge from there.
