Should I be worried?

Trying to do Lep Seclusa on Veteran for that Seawater Grand Healing.
I, honestly, should give up on getting that lol.

Context for the leech: we had someone AFKing, so the party lead removed them.

And that was the only exchange in this run.
Nothing else was said. I left the instance right after.

Part of me says it's a nothingburger and I'm being paranoid.
Even in Club Penguin this would hardly count as toxicity.

But there's some doubt.
I've read some horror stories of bans and suspensions on this forum.
I don't want to wake up to my account being suspended for leaving the party cause someone ticked me off.

So I'm wondering if this exchange is anything to worry about.
And after what time such report goes through the agents?

Nah, you seem fine here. I will say that you should have said at the start that you haven’t been here before. Lots of people (maybe not this person, though…) are happy to explain mechanics. I’m a fair bit confused by what the other player was on about though, was this first boss? Where he puts a green line between two players? Because if so, sounds like you did the right thing. You’re supposed to break it by putting a rock between you and the other player. Sure, these days, people like ignoring mechanics, even in vet Lep Seclusa, but… the correct way IS to run away from the other person.

Double posting to add… I would be anxious too, in your situation, but I’m sure you’ll be fine. Even if you did get bonked for this, it’d probably be temporary social ban. But I don’t think it’ll happen.

Also, pugging is not a good way to get a challenger. Especially not for Lep Seclusa. I couldn’t even get Worm Wizard via pugging Fang Lair (though, this was years ago), which is how I ended up looking for a dungeon guild. Yep, it was the second boss; the trapper one.
I ran Vet Lep Seclusa multiple times a year ago, but this boss was always the stopping point for wipes.
So it wasn't my first time.

At the same time I know I'm rusty and never got far enough.
Today was the first time since last year I sat and tried that again, so I doubted my memory of that boss' mechanics for a moment.

It seems I doubt myself too much.
Running away from the other person tethered felt like an instinct for a reason and worked previously today.

As for your offer in the second post - I'm on EU server, so no dice.
Maybe I should look for a dungeon guild too.

I'd be surprised if got bonked even if social, but I guess we'll see in a week or two.
I have no idea how far reaching a report can be; imagine being social banned for something you've said half a year ago lol.

Interesting that pugs struggle with it… I wonder if it’s people trying to ignore the mechanics 😂😭. But yeah, you were right. Though, I guess the other person should’ve run from you so you can stay in group to heal but… can’t trust pugs.

I’m not well versed on the EU community but I am in one EU discord, looks like EU has dungeon guilds too. I’ll send you a message on here when I’m able, don’t wanna drop their discord links in public without permission lol.

Yeah, the buttons are missing icons. Have to feel around for the edit button. And no problem, I’ve been there haha.

I'll give it a thought. I don't really like joining discord servers.
Maybe even making a group for the achievment run, exhausting in-game options first.
But for a challenger run they'd like a discord call probably anyway.

Could certainly try using group finder. Lep Seclusa HM does have some argument for having a VC but I think any dungeon can technically be done without one.

If people were banned for moderate toxicity/bashing, that other player probably wouldn't still be there. Doesn't seem like either person is harassing the other, just some saltiness and being rude. It's unfortunate that all happened.
