Have a million Soul Gems and don't know what to do with them? Instead of selling them, try scribing Anchorite's Cruelty / Potency

Black Gem Monstrosity monster set consumes a soul gem for damage also.

Regardless of costing a soul gem on each usage, they are pretty lame imho.

Sometimes players use Soul Burst with the Anchorite´s Cruelty script (which turns it into a 10 second DoT) to help proc the Mechanical Acuity set faster in PvE. Since Oblivion Damage can't crit, and you build Acuity stacks by dealing non Critical Damage, it's a nice combination. I believe it's mostly used when burning bosses in e.g. Dungeons.

The scribed skill would look like this (only Anchorite's Cruelty is needed; the other two scripts could be different)

Hyperioxes also recommends using Soul Burst with Anchorite's Potency for most of his recent pure class Tank builds. Giving yourself and your teammates some more Ultimate never hurts, though I reckon it's less useful for non-organized groups.

anchorites cruelty ive seen some use in pvp, mainly if your going for an oblivion dmg stacking build

potency i think could be useful in general, but i cant always fit a scribe skill into the builds im working, nor do i want to chew through soul gems that much lol
