Apocryphal Gate is Useless

Apocryphal Gate ability is absolutely useless.
When I try to cast the spell I tend to receive an Invalid Location message instead of casting the spell, most of the time due to the SLIGHTEST of elevation or depression - the ability won't work.
Even if the start and end point is on the same level, if there is anything between the two points, even a slight prop - the ability won't work.
If I want to teleport between two platforms with a gap between - the ability won't work.
Instead of elevating my build, this ability causes depression, the only Arcanist mobility ability is totally disfunctional. I know Arcanist is supposed to come to redone at EO 2027 but it is already the weakest class in PvP. Please fix, thanks!

Usureki✭✭✭It has been a month since I've reported this ticket. It would be nice to receive at least some kind of recognition that the issue was perceived.
In hope that it will have any effect, I share the example below:
On this image one may see, that I'm at the top of some stairs, so I'm like 1 meter above my target. I receive tons of error messages on the top right corner of the screen, like 'target is out of range' or 'invalid location'. I was trying to use this ability to escape, but at least once every battleground the ability fails to function.
I'm not even stating the obvious that this ability is inherently weaker than e.g. the Sorcerer's Streak ability and would deserve a buff. I'm trying to point out, how a core ability of a class that was released years ago is broken.
Please fix!0
