I get on here and whinge a lot - especially recently! So, I wanted to share my feedback on the Thieves Guild quest series that dropped this month in the hope this encourage more new content.

First, it's awesome to have a really nice NEW CONTENT quest series to complete. I'm not much of a thief, but it was fun dipping back into the Thieves Guild. The balance of old faces and new was good, and the overall length of the quest series was just about right - this is the longest I've remained online in a single sitting for ages. It's also an informative intro to Nowhere and Nowhere keys (up until these quests I really wasn't sure what that was all about).

Dialogue was great, especially the fun parts, and the new characters were written well and the voice acting was, as usual, excellent. The story arc made great use of Daggerfall and the Glenumbra region, as well as some new places that hopefully we'll go back to some day soon. The quests themselves were some of ZoS best work in years - I won't go into detail, but this felt like a pleasant mix of thieving, solving puzzles, and living out the well-written story.

My only criticism is the rewards - choosing to drop set items from Hew's Bane is something I'm struggling to get my head around. There are literally thousands of options available for loot and quest rewards, so recycling stuff from years back honestly belittles the quality of the quest line. I also feel like it's a bit of a slap in the face for players who have been around a while - players who collected this set a looong while back. @ZOS_Kevin I'm hoping we can do better in future (please & thank you).

Otherwise, this was super. Please, more new content like this = proper Elder Scrolls story arc content.

    I couldn't agree more!

It's been many years since I felt this satisfied with a complete questline as I did with this one in Glenumbra. On top of that, because of the brazilian portuguese translation addon I work on, I noticed that there are several points throughout the quest where you can actually fail, leading to occasional character deaths or disappointed reactions from NPCs depending on your actions.

I honestly think it's one of ZOS finest pieces of work in the past years. That said, I do agree that its biggest weakness is the lack of more compelling rewards. I liked getting the costume at the end, for example, but I think the Rogue Refugee house would have made much more sense as the ultimate reward for completing the entire storyline—perhaps with all of its fragments being found throughout that questline... I'm not sure.

Either way, the memorable characters, enjoyable puzzles, meaningful player agency, and engaging narrative all came together brilliantly. It was genuinely a breath of fresh air!

I agree on a well-done quest line. The sneaking bits kept me on my toes but was quite manageable. Normally I dislike puzzles but, as ZoS usually does, these were simple/straightforward enough that my elf could figure them out without resorting to a walkthrough. I liked working in the older zones - many of them are my faves. I liked that the overall mission was simply helping a friend instead of being 'The Chosen One' or saving the world (again). Well done!

I enjoyed the questline up until the second to last quest, but it was just a bit frustrating, nothing gamebreaking. I was sneaking around and another player zoomed through the place triggering every guard, which made me break stealth. I was near the end so I just ran to the door and problem solved

Otherwise though, I had a lot of fun with the quests and characters, and the reward you get for completing the entire questline is great (Love anything that's red and black colored)

I did the quest again on my Xbox account and I was pleasantly surprised that choices actually matter! A very significant plot point changes depending on which option you choose around the halfway point. Well done.
