Abandoning heist returns to wrong thieves guild location

I took a heist quest (and started the quest) at the Daggerfall Thieves Guild. I abandoned the quest, and was returned to the Hew's Den Thieves Guild. I was expecting to end up in the Daggerfall Thieves Guild.

Finishing a heist picked up at Glenumbra (doesn't depend in how successful) ports you back to the quest NPC‘s location in Hews Bane as well.

ON PS-NA, upon completion & returning to Fa'ren-dar within the heist instance, there are 2 options given.

    The first (upper) option is:
Let's get back to the Abah's Landing thieves den.

    The second (lower) option is:
Let's get back to the Daggerfall thieves den.

If you click his dialogue too quickly you may have missed the 2 options given and return to Abah’s Landing (first, upper option).

I have also tested and observed the same on PS-NA, and similarly expected the same as OP. The game code should detect which location the player was when activating the heist instance and return them there when done or when abandoning quest. One possible fix would be to match the order of the ‘heist complete’ options to the player’s last Thieves Den location. If they started from Abah’s Landing, the first option offered when returning should be back to Abah’s Landing, and similar logic for from-Daggerfall-to-Daggerfall.

That would work for quest completion but not for abandoning the quest. When you abandon, there are no dialogues. You're just ported out to the Hew's Bane thieves den, regardless of where you started the heist. Your suggestion would probably reduce going to the wrong location after completion, though.

Yeah, I ran into that last night on PC NA and accidentally E'd rather than selecting a destination. No harm done and I did end up back in the Daggerfall Den (where I started), but luck rather than planning on my part.
I'm fresh out of outrage, but I could muster up some amused annoyance if required.
