The Battleground skill matchmaking and setup is horrible

First of all, I don't play Battlegrounds a lot so I get that my MMR ranking probably hasn't fully kicked in yet but but I started running one a day for the Daily and I'm about 5 or 6 games in and it's just straight bullying. Every match so far my team is 500 to 0 score or close to it. I legit feel bad for partaking in it.

There are too many queue options for Battlegrounds splitting up the small PvP player base. There should be ONE option for queue or two at the very most. And 4v4v4 team Battlegrounds needs to come back because it's much more balanced than 4v4 or 8v8. MMR also needs to be account wide instead of based on character and should NOT reset monthly. I can understand a yearly reset at the launch of a new DLC/season but not monthly.

You've listened to the feedback from the wrong crowd and right now with WW being as OP as it is I can understand why no average player would want to queue Battlegrounds ever.

I'm no average player in the sense that I mainly played PvP, yet I still agree in a sense.. Since this week I've decided to just stop playing, because Battlegrounds are simply decided by which team has more DKs and WWs. It is not a matter of MMR (which is a very bad way to rank players as it has been pointed out by the community for years) nor skill but simply a very broken meta which I refuse to play until they attempt to marginally fix it. My fear is, that game will be unplayable until end of 2027, when they plan to finish revamping all the classes, one by one.

Unfortunately, the biggest skill hurdle in ESO is knowing what cheese is currently the best.

This commemoration is for the class that has constantly been plundered and dismantled by designers for no obvious reason while other classes continue to have coherent skill lines and feel both powerful and cool.

The matchmaking has been god-awful recently. It's just completely mismatched teams where one side just completely dominates.

I've been in three losing games in a row. One would think the system would notice this and pick up on that. Where is the "team balance"?

    4v4v4 needs to come back

Damage, healing, shields, sustain, scaling all need adjusting. Most daily chasing PVE players refuse to use PvP gear or builds.

All stats should be zero when naked except bonuses from racials and passives. Magicka 8k stamina 8k health 9k all at base. Remove armor negatives. Keep base armor and critical resistance same as live.

Rework champion points perks that are doing to much.

(Give full set starter gear for new players that scales till cp160 and is locked so they don’t accidentally deconstruct it)

So as a test for today's battleground, I took a screenshot of the other team. It was a curbstomp battle, we lost.

I then queue up again for my next game.

It's the exact same team. I'm doing 8v8 Solo.

    The matchmaking doesn't prevent this?

Is there any way to tell what your MMR is? It’s not account wide is it? Just toon specific?

    Just wondering.

But yeah someone already said it. It’s mostly about how many dks or warewolves your team has.

I do however main a magicka sorc and I think magicka sorc is strong and in a good place in PvP right now. Sorc can stack magicka and get a super strong sheild making them hard to kill when combined with kiting all while having huge damage thanks to font of power giving an extra 1k spell damage.

Warewolf heal is overpowered being based on amount of health, that’s probably the only change needed. Although ww pack leader getting both minor courage and major protection and increased block mitigation is a bit much as well.

Dk heart of flame and power lashes are powerful and probably OP. At least nerf the 50% mitigation coming from wings, far out. Make it 20-30%.

    I have a DK, I have a warewolf, I have a nightblade, Arcanist and a sorc.

Sorc is still my favourite to play overall. Really happy with sorc class masteries.

Powerlashes combined with a corrosive armour burst on DK. Not much can survive that damage, that can be fun for sure.

Just like any online games, indeed.

Truth to be told the best BG experiences I have are the ones without DKs and WWs. There are broken Sorcerer builds too, but honestly I find them easier to handle.
