How does my cliff racer follow me into dungeons?

But seriously I'm calling this cliff racer down upon my enemies, it's the FIRST ability in my Animal Companions tree, and it's like... it's nuts. Like. Do you have any idea how metal cliff racers are? They are the most insanely depraved aggressive, untamable, jerks of animals ever. Did you ever try to walk from Ald'ruhn to Maar Gan? That's how I know!

But this ability, playing ESO, is making me like them. Look at that, they're helping me. They're coming down even into underground dungeons to attack my enemies. Bros. Absolute bros for that.

i believe we weave the Cliff Diver and other Warden creatures into existence.

Here is a relevant quote from the "Who Are The Wardens" lorebook:
"There also appear to be stark differences in the Wardens' powers from those of the Spinners. While the Bosmer priests reportedly draw stories from their past, present, and future to entrance their audience, Wardens seem to draw upon their natural environment to change and shape reality itself. In layman's terms, something I think my colleague Phrastus may appreciate, the Spinners appear to employ a kind of Illusionary magic, whereas the Wardens' abilities are more akin to what might traditionally be called Alteration or Conjuration."

You summon them. A Warden is basically a (Bosmer) Greenspeaker, a magical storyteller who makes things reality through these stories.

Interesting, thanks. I'm gonna choose not to believe it though. Because that's not how I see the warden class. To me my character isn''t a summoner who is using magic he is befriending animals that are actually in the world, like my bear. When I summon my bear the animation that my character does isn't magic it's just a weird dance he does to get the bear to come over to him. Like this cliff racer that I'm summoning- that's not many cliff racers, it's one, and I'm calling him to attack repeatedly. And he does it because I saved him from starvation as a chick or something many years ago lol or I helped him from being bullied by the other mean cliff racer

How would that work if you're a warden who's not a Dunmer? Dunno, maybe you went on vacation to Morrowind one year from your studies at the University of Summerset lol

If you look up when casting it, you do open a portal through which to summon it.

Having said that, I do hope that the upcoming rework will not change it too much, except possibly changing it to regular birds over a specific culture’s flying creatures. My Warden is a Skaal and it’d make more sense with generic birds.

I wish we could get any news on Warden. I wish we could have gotten any news before this all happened, because now it’s understandable why we don’t have news.

Unfortunately, despite the name, it’s not actually a cliff racer. This is one reason I really don’t like the skill. If you can manage to screenshot the “bird” mid-flight, you’ll see it’s actually a cliff skipper. It has legs.

I would actually be happy with the opposite. I dont get why we have netches, shalks, cliff racers but the ult is a bear instead of a guar / kagouti.

Cliff divers are the best. Would love a choice of leopard, tiger, gorilla, etc. along with the bear ultimate. Because I don't care for the bear I don't play warden much ... hardly ever.

I wouldn't mind an attack wolf of some kind - would make much more sense for a Nord Warden (although Nords are famously skittish about magic, so I'm not sure a Nord Warden should be a thing lore-wise.)

I just think of it like my Dunmer is from the western portion of Morrowind (not vaardenfell) that borders with Skyrim so there's bears there too lol.
