Xbox Play Anywhere / PC Gamespass vs PC Clients.......look a little different?

Graphical differences between Steam and Xbox PC versions?

I am running both clients maxed out on a 5080 laptop at 100fps. However, the Steam version seems to have slightly better lighting and cleaner DLSS implementation than the Xbox PC app.Am I imagining things, or is there a legitimate difference between these two builds? I would love to hear your thoughts, or get an official Admin response.

Both the versions I'm referring to are PC.

The Gamepass version is actually the XBox version. Even if you play it on PC, it's still the XBox version

The PC Gamepass version has all the PC graphics options, it runs on the Xbox server. My question relates to any difference in the implementation of those options between the two versions because I have noticed...or imagined, some slight differences in image quality.

Did you compare the long build numbers in both?

If they are exactly the same, then it should be identical if your settings file is also identical.

No I didn't. Where do I find that? Although they will likely be different because of voice chat and the restricted UI on the GamepassPC version.
