Bitten Chew Bone can be consumed beyond the maximum for no effect

I already have Skill Stylist III: Werewolf Form completed from eating 10 Bitten Chew Bones, but I was able to eat an 11th bone which had no effect. I expected the game to prevent me from consuming it. You can see I have the maximum unlocked here because my character is using the white style with Werewolf Berserker markings when I clicked the bone:

Did you actually manage to farm these in two days or did you buy the remaining ones off other players? I'm asking because I thought those would only drop once per day and therefore I did not grind the encounter.

I bought them from me, myself, and I, for 0 gold each. Yes, I mean alt accounts, just doing the one guaranteed per day.
