Do you think NB will get an ult/ability that bypasses CC immunity? (PvP)

I doubt it in PvE (boss mechanics). But if this class really wants to make a difference in the current PvP meta, being able to bypass CC immunity may be both a rotation and CC impactful situation. Fits with the "perfect moment" power fantasy indicated in the dev deep dive (otherwise, if beholden to all CC, what makes NB's perfect moment different in a clash of multiple players?). 'Course if it's subclass-able I expect it to be meta (and hate it).

That would take the class beyond the DK and WW level as the complaints levied against them are. There are certain things that need to be immutable and one of them is CC immunity. Crit damage cap increase is thematic and at the end of the day, won't be game breaking. If a class starts bypassing one of the rules that guarantees a fair play instead of continuous unending immobilize spam, stun lock, or related exploits that will be possible, that can be really game breaking.

Considering how much rush of Agony is complained about, I doubt they would even attempt to add anything like it.
Besides nb has a decent cc with fear, they just need to adjust other skills to fit in with more easily. Atm nb burst is too easily avoidable as the class has no delayed burst everything has to be fired on the spot so to speak.
For all my talk of whip being too strong dk burst is enabled heavily by lining up incinerate/hof behind it usually.

Nbs don’t need anything like that and fear is bunz as a cc just give surprise attack its cc back reduced incap cost and give nbs some real dot pressure like rogues are suppose to have and you don’t have to go over the top with buffing nbs damage the class is all over the place at the moment and doesn’t look anything like the assassin class it started out as

And for the love off god fix the target is immune to this when it comes to nb abilities

The game needs less rule breakers not more. When one is added, balance shifts too hard in its direction because ZOS overdoes it.

And it's too easy to be pushed into situations where you are forced to die on certain classes (the 3 bottom ones). It'll just make those classes even more extinct.

Problem with pure-class NB is that their main burst tools/combo is so insanely predictable and easy to counter. Getting hit by a incap --> bow proc is purely a skill issue. Only "reliable" way to land a bow proc is through off-balance --> medium weave --> bow proc, but even that combo has proper counter play through block-/block weaving. NB lacks adequate counterplay to block, and while fear goes through block, it doesn´t allow you to land either incap or bow proc as a follow up due GCD´s and minimum travel time etc. Not sure what the best solution is, but current pureclass NB is honestly such a disgrace to the class it´s sad to see.

The last thing this game needs is a class ability that bypasses CC immunity.

I hope ZoS have learned from Rush of Agony, but one can never be too sure.

I'm sorry but that's a big no from me.

As it is, Subclassing has enabled an over-use of CC, as a mechanic.

Prior to subclassing the different methods of CC were spread out among the classes. This made each instance of CC more unique and less predominant; it also made counter-play more effective.

But now, everyone can slot every thing. This means more players can stack hard & soft CC than they could before. This has made CC far too over used .. between knock backs / knock downs (which have inconsistent animations & recovery mechs) to stuns, to immobilizations, to snares .. no, CC is leaned on far more than it should in combat.

No class should have the ability to bypass CC immunity. If anything, IMO, CC immunity needs to be revisited. I'd like to see one of two things happen, either: 1) extend the CC immunity duration for each type of CC or 2) consolidate CC immunity into global immunity so that when a player receives immunity from CC it's from all sources for the duration.

This would make the uses of CC more strategic and carry more of a penalty for constant spams. It's one thing to use CC to interrupt an opponent and turn the direction of combat, it's a whole other thing to stack CC repeatedly to enable little to no risk vs reward combat.

This would also address the clumsiness of some of the CC mechs, like knock downs & knock backs that see a minimum amount of animation carried out before being able to break free at all, giving the caster a significant advantage to using that form of CC.
