Dear ZOS team,

I would like to propose a specific fix for Battlegrounds to prevent players from abusing spawn areas to attack enemies with zero risk.

The Problem:
Right now, players can stand inside their protected spawn zones and freely cast offensive abilities or ranged attacks at enemies outside, remaining completely unpunishable.

The Solution:

1. Complete Immunity & Attack Ban:
Players inside the spawn should have full immunity (like in the Imperial City), but they must be completely unable to attack.

2. Ability Bar Lock:
While inside the spawn area, the ability bar should be automatically locked/disabled for all offensive skills and transformations (such as Werewolf or Vampire Lord).Error Message: If a player tries to use a ranged attack or an offensive skill from the spawn, a system message should pop up on their screen: "You cannot attack while in the spawn area."

3. Spawn Timer:
Introduce a strict 15-20 second time limit for staying at the spawn. If a player just idles or runs around inside the protected zone for 15-20 seconds, they should be automatically teleported directly into the arena.

The Outcome:
This change will instantly eliminate unfair advantages, improve the overall player experience, and force everyone into active, fair combat on the battlefield.Thank you for reading and considering this feedback!

    Idk. There are ganker builds aimed specifically in staying in a good defensive position and most BG maps, especially 4v4 maps have few of these spots other than the camp. For your info, if you are in camp and you can hit people below, they can hit you too - if they cannot hit you, you cannot hit them in return and I think it's fair.

    I think instead we need a teleport to the battle area as I think the greatest disadvantage is the amount of time falling down enables killing someone before their feet touches the ground. Increasing TTK would be an option as well, but the world is not heading towards that direction in the age of steaming and TikTok.

    The Spawn Timer definietly needs to be tightened, the current implementation has zero functionality it is so slow and allows sooooo much afking.

    .. but as long as DK and WW are so ridiculously overpowered compared to other classes, implementing anything other than a balance patch is like rearranging the deckchairs on the Titanic.

    OP, the BG issue you raised along with all the other issues (MMR, 2 team v 3 team, balance etc) have been raised and discussed to death on the forums for a long time now, and no changes have been made.

    Now with a large part of the developers being laid off, I don't see BGs getting better any time soon unfortunately which is a shame because a few tweeks here and there could make them at least more enjoyable.

    If they're forced into their spawns, they should be able to shoot from a defensive position

    They should be forcibly removed out of there though. The current timer is far too long
