✭✭✭I did want to say it's okay if people are confused. We only had one season and a lot of MMO players aren't used to this type of thing in an MMO, and it could be the first time some people encountered one.
Hopefully things are more clear moving ahead.1 -

✭✭✭✭I'm surprised they kept the daily login activity here. I thought they were going to remove it, after some blowback last season. And I also thought this system was intended to reduce daily FOMO, but maybe I'm misunderstanding.1 -

If anyone is having FOMO for 15 tome points, they seriously need to re-evaluate why they play MMO's in the first place.16 -

The whole Tomes system was very poorly presented and explained. Like there being a 2000 tome points carry over limit that was never explained to the players. And the "Acquire (Hold)" button to purchase items which is confusing at best.
This is just another thing about Tomes that wasn't made clear.
That was explained from day 1 of season 0. It was in the release info.
There wasn't a reward for getting 99/99 logins, kt was just a number high emougn to allow a daily every day of the season.698d played, 267 days on the Warden.

Unless there is a miscount happening which the devs have not addressed, the Season One tome shows that it will run for 104-ish days, so the 99 daily logins seasonal challenge can be completed this season. The devs were clear back around April that Season Zero would only last 96-ish days and the 99 logins could not be fully completed.I'm fresh out of outrage, but I could muster up some amused annoyance if required.0 -

Even if you are used to similar systems there's a lot of subtle but important differences between them.
My main frame of reference for tomes is Guild Wars 2's Wizard's Vault, which is basically a free season pass. I also recently got back into Pokemon Go which has added season passes since I stopped playing. There's similarities between all of them but they're also different from each other and different from ESO's version.
