Season 0 unclaimed rewards converted automatically

So I didn't claim a few things deliberately, but ZoS decided I needed the 75 transmutes anyway, sigh. Anyway how do I get them? Do they come in a mailing or what? I already had 3000 so didn't need any more, but my character doesn't have any geode things on her. Any ideas?

Thanks for the confirmation, I assumed as much.

As I said, I really don't need any more, have a chest full of gear to decon and many crystals over my characters, but this just seems, I dunno, wasteful? I'd have preferred the gold tbh

If you transmute a trash weapon to nirnhoned you have a chance of getting a nirn when you break it down.

Thats what I do with my excess transmutes

Yes, me too, deliberately did not claim stuff I did not want! Especially transmutes as I have about 10000 already.

Wait, I thought it was only supposed to claim unclaimed cosmetics/collectibles?

Maybe because transmutes are considered a currency.

Yeah, I just logged in and I also had 450 transmutes auto-claimed that I did NOT want. I am swimming in transmutes, I already have geodes sitting on characters, I have helms reconstructed as additional storage, and I'm not crafting gear. I did not want those. Nor did I want the outfit tokens. I have a ton of those also.

It also claims Currencies, including Transmutes.

It shouldn't, especially since THAT currency specifically has a cap. If it's going to auto-claim them, it at least should do so in the form of geodes. Or make them geodes when claiming so they don't count as a currency. As it stands, that means I lost out on over 1000 tome points for a reward that disappeared.

In the meantime, I had collectibles auto-claimed which I really did not want cluttering up my outfit menus. We need an opt-out system or repeatable rewards to spend our tome points on, instead of an auto-claim system.

Oh I agree with this too. I had a ton of collectibles claimed that I didn't care for. But I knew it was going to claim them and just let it happen. I also would much prefer a repeatable reward section to claim things once you have everything you want. If they're going to force autoclaim (to prevent people from being upset they missed claiming things because they were not able to log in before swap), at least let me have SOME way of bypassing them.

It worked the same as if you opened a reward box with transmutes and were at the cap - they were lost. I claimed them before the auto claim and that is what happened.

I mean the auto-claimer should be entirely opt-in to begin with so it doesn't claim ANYTHING we didn't expressly buy, but Transmutes should definitely have been delivered by Geodes. In fact when you buy them for Points don't you get them as Geodes? I could swear that when I got them last Season they came in Mails as Geodes.

On an alt account I had the auto claimer pop-up saying that it claimed all the collectibles when I had already done so myself. And I somehow started the new season with seven pages unlocked…
