Only 2000 points rolled over for the season? Lame

I bought everything and had 9127 points left but only 2000 points got carried over. The rest was converted to gold. Guess no point in doing anything in the season once you get all the items. Seems kinda lame my points would just go away with such a low cap, should be 10k at least or not even bother having a limit so players have something to do

This has been known for a while, that's why people have asked for the possibility of items that can be repeatedly purchased as the last page, then people can decide what they want to spend there points on

I don't even participate with the battlepass system and I knew this. It was communicated in numerous ways exactly what would happen.

Now, would an in-game popup 72 hours before the conversion with a warning have been nice? Yeah, absolutely. But even then we'd have seen posts like this.

Yeah I mean sure I do think the details of the end of season system need some work and could be more player-friendly (the auto-claimer is terrible, and the points not rolling over and just converting to a little gold feels bad).

But it was clearly communicated multiple times that this was how it was going to work.

Hopefully they'll be open to some future changes based on feedback. (Ideas like repeatable purchases once you reach the bonus pages of the tome, and being able to opt-out of the auto-claimer would be great for example). I doubt they would just let all the points roll over because it's in their interest to drive engagement with each new season / tome.

Something, just losing points is a waste of my time, repeatable items could work or higher or no limits. Seems just boring as it is and just not worth paying for eso plus with all these short comings

Larger items get auto purchased, and then the rest goes into gold. There's a few announcements explaining the details of it.

I'm sorry you got caught by surprise. Life gets busy, I know. Yes, they DID communicate. Life also gets busy and sometimes things like this happen.

So I feel ya, and also acknowledge their work.

Honestly it's just as bad on the other end. With 2k rolled over I'm on page 10 already with barely anything left to buy, so my motivation to get more points is Null.

I was happy to get 100.000 gold. Since I am not in a Guild and only make gold with crafting, it some nice extra. Could it be more? Sure

I think that's the idea. They claimed they wanted to reduce FOMO, and part of that was making their new system one where you can safely miss days or entire weeks and won't miss out on anything except a bit of gold.

I payed or earned those points, I have millions in gold so I didn’t need that. If they don’t want to roll over the full points then make something to buy repeatable because as of now I don’t want to bother with the season stuff any more. I’m just canceling my ESO plus as it’s not worth supporting a game that wants to take away what I earned. The tickets had a max but they never took stuff from people. So tired of these petty games they are playing with the season stuff as I’m hating it now. I won’t even bother with any of the objectives for the season
