Season One Tamriel Tome page dates

Hey All,
You may notice the dates listed in the Season One Tome do not match with dates we've listed on the Season One roadmap. A fix is coming in Update 51 for the Tome. Please refer to this article for more information: https://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/70123

What are the chances all of those items are included in Update 51 currently scheduled for September 21? I’m guessing some or most of those items will miss that date unless it is pushed back.

Am I understanding this right, to correct some in game dates in the tome we need to wait 2.5 months until U51 launches?

Seems they hardcode these things and even clientside only, which (as a developer myself) is pretty insane given the live service of things for tomes...

Why did the tome system auto-claim a bunch of stuff I didn't want?

If I had wanted it all I'd have claimed it already, I'd rather have the gold for the extra tome points.

Because that’s how it works and it was also announced working that way.

There was also talk of excess points being converted to gold, what happened to that?

The gold conversion was the final option. If all collectibles on all unlocked pages of your Tome had been purchased, then any Tome Points beyond 2K were converted to gold at a 10g/point ratio. I got about a 180K payout for my points, but there weren't any currencies or collectibles left in the Tome for the autoclaimer to purchase. I even accidentally bought that 500-point Werewolf skill style that my EU character avoided (the autoclaimer bought it for them anyway).

Does anyone know how to claim rewards from the Season Zero tome that I bought at a bonus level? The window only shows the new Tome, not the old one.

On ps you press and hold square in the existing tome and it lets you choose which one to look at

Thanks for this. On Xbox you can switch tomes by holding X.

I did actually find out how to open the old tome.

I had been under the impression that it would still be possible to complete challenges for the previous Tome, but this doesn't seem to be the case.

When I swapped to the Season Zero Tome, the challenges shown are the Season One challenges, not the Season Zero ones. This just removed most of my motivation for buying the bonus edition.

It’s been my understanding that challenges are separate from Tomes, and once you earn Tome points, you can spend them in any premium Tome that you own. Each week you don’t get a separate set of challenges for each Tome you own.
