Yeah, it's easy to miss. I missed it the first couple times I skimmed through it because my eyes were intent on finding "July 8" with the assumption that the time would be following right after it.0 -

At a guess, it might be to make sure everyone's season 0 tome points/auto-claim/gold conversion is done and fully assigned before the new season starts.4 -

✭✭✭✭Yeah, the communicated pretty early (including in the ESO livestream they did a couple weeks ago) that there was a gap between ending and beginning.
Considering that we saw bugs with the season 0 login reward where if you were already logged into the game when the season started you couldn’t claim that first day, maybe this delay is meant to help mitigate that.

How else would you purchase a season? There is a free track and a premium and premium+ tome. You technically do not have to buy anything.9 -
