I don't know yet.

I cancelled my sub back in January because I was thoroughly unimpressed with the new model, but U49's and U50's PTS cycles were bringing me back around, and I was really looking forward to U51's until... this happened. My sub runs out at the end of next month, so it's more a matter of seeing the new roadmap and how U51's PTS is now handled - and one of the big things is that the leaders of the teams that have been so good with communication lately are gone, but the one team that has never been good with communication is now going to be the deciding factor for a lot of people. Hope they can learn real quick that the players liked the better communication if they want us to keep supporting the game.

I was so opposed to the Seasonal model at first and I didn't want to buy any Premium tomes, but I am a horrible sucker for personalities so I did have to buy the Season Zero pass for that. But there really isn't anything in the first place in Season One that I'm interested in, so I wasn't going to get that one Premium in the first place.

I'll have to wait. I know plenty of people who cancelled subs instantly. I also know a bunch of people who only see that as a way to kill the game faster.

While I'm playing, I'm subscribing to ESO+. Managing inventory, no access to Dungeon DLCs, and limited housing slots is not interesting to me. I will wait and see what the updated roadmap is and then will decide if I want to continue playing/subscribing.

As for premium tomes, I've never planned to buy them in the first place. So, recent events have no bearing on that.

My supporting of the game was always buying chapters and dlc, now that they’re gone I don’t see why I would given I don’t care about cosmetics

1:- Makes my life sooo much harder

2:- Will hasten what may or may not be inevitably the end of the game.

As for premium tomes well it has to be something I really, really want even in the basic premium offering..... season zero did not have that....... I was a bit tempted by the wolves but I like my plan and simple Ice Wolf too much

Eh. It's a lose lose situation. Pay, and you support Microsoft. Don't pay and our game dies faster (not that it is dying right now, we don't know that).
Both options are perfectly valid. I'm not going to have this dictate my spending habits.
If ZOS shows me stuff I actually want to spend money on, I suppose I will. If they don't, then I won't.
I advise everyone to do the same, until the day we actually do get concrete information on a shut down - whether that's tomorrow or in 20 years from now with the announcement of ESO2.

Don't have a lot of choice on the sub since mine is annual and renewed last week, making it a next year question rather than a right now question. My alt account has a three-month sub which also recently renewed, so I'm in wait-and-see mode for that account. For the Season One Tome, probably. I'm almost certainly not going to spring the extra $15 for Bonus, but I might burn my premium points from the sub renewal instead. Alt account is also wait-and-see, but closer to "probably" rather than "probably not" at the moment.

EDIT to add: after due consideration, I'm not burning my Premium points for a Corgi. Her late Majesty may have enjoyed the breed, but I do not. I opened my (Steam) wallet and sprang the $15 instead. Assuming Season Two shows up on schedule, I'll reevalutate spending those points when I see what I'm getting for the Bonus item(s).

I'm going to continue paying to support the game as long as I still play it every day on two servers for several hours per server.

My ESO Plus subscription is annual, and is good for several more months, so it isn't really a factor at the moment.

I'd been buying all of the chapters and DLCs, but didn't immediately buy the Season Zero update when it was released-- not for lack of interest, but more because I play through Steam and wasn't sure about the new purchasing procedure (since I could no longer just buy the update from the Steam store). But I finally purchased Season Zero about a week ago, and the procedure was pretty easy.

I plan to buy the Premium+ version of Season One after it's released. As long as I'm still playing and enjoying the game, I see no reason not to keep supporting it.

I had canceled my sub a month ago when I realized that there was no new content and grinding the challenges was all there was.

Am not into cosmetics and and when I understood the auto claim thing, that the work I did was being wasted on things I don't want, I no longer see any point in wasting playing time.

Poll really needed an "Other" option.

I've already renewed my sub for this month on my main, I don't sub on my alt since I don't have the money for it. I get too much value out of ESO+ from Craft Bag, Furniture Vault, double Bank space and Furniture Slots, Costume dyeing, and the Crowns every month, with everything else being a nice little bonus.

As for the Premium Tome, nothing really caught my eye for Season Zero's. I had wanted the Monster Hunter Personality, until it was revealed to constantly carry a 2H sword fsr and nothing about it really gave off the vibe of a person who hunted dangerous beings for a living. But Season One's Premium Tome already looks a lot better and I want the Fence that's part of it since he can also Launder iirc. Would make stealing a lot more worth doing by cutting out having to deal with going to an Outlaw Refuge to Launder things you actually wanna keep.

I currently have an active ESO+ subscription on two of my accounts. It’s an annual subscription that ends in March of next year, and as long as I’m playing the game and enjoying it, I don’t see any reason not to renew it. If the game is still around and if its content remains interesting to me—or if I continue to enjoy it—then yes, I’ll keep my subscription going.

After that I think that I won't sub again. Just waiting for a new roadmap and ohter things. Actually I feel this comes to an end here.

Unless I am taking a break I will continue to subscribe and filling my pockets with crowns. If unsubscribing helped in any way to preserve the team or have the game sold to investors that care only then I would unsubscribe.

ESO is a perfect game you can always come back to with so much content. Unlike some other MMOs my gear still holds up for nearly decade (making grind optional), the overworld is now challenging and the world looks stunning with so much to explore and to quest. As casual player I can even do some damage in PVP with Oakensoul and only having 5 skills instead of 30 on my hotbar.

While I am saddened that we will likely never get to visit Whiterun ESO I will likely stick around until the end even if the hour is late for Tamriel.

I will continue my eso+ for now. As other posters have said its too much of a hassle to play without it, and I do also want to continue to support the game. My knee jerk reaction on hearing the news was to cancel everything, but after consideration I feel that it won't help anything, and in the end could do more harm than good. Dont get me wrong I am disgusted with Microsoft/xbox so this will be the only money they get from me.

As for the tomes I probably won't be purchasing the premium version for the foreseeable future.

We (my Guilds) are committed to this game. There aren't as many of us as there used to be. So many people quit the game over Subclass. The bulk of our supports with them and it's a taxing struggle to get people to do anything because they aren't playing how they want to. And neither are the rest of us because now we have to be the supports all the time. U50 isnt helping me as a Warden main who gets punished before the update and then nerfed after. But it is helping some of our members but not enough of them. As long as I am still here, so will all of our Guilds and their members. And I will keep my subscription and purchase the Premium as long as I am. Most of my Officers and our senior members will follow suit.

My subs don't run out until late autumn/winter however I will probably purchase the tome.

Anything in-game is property of ZOS anyway so for me these in-game purchases are more akin to sharing a drink with friends in a beer garden, pleasant but ultimately transient.

Even though I clog the servers almost daily, I haven't put any money in this game since my pre-order of the 2025 content pass.

If they ever decide to release actual new content like zones and dungeons with new assets, stories, music, ... then I will gladly throw money at them with some crowns or a tome to support them.

I’m still going to, as I enjoy the absolute convenience that is ESO+ a bit too much. I don’t wanna have the headache of material management, nor do I wanna buy all the DLCs. That and the double bank space and furniture vault. Too many things for me to just dump. I will also be getting the Season 1 pass as there’s things I want from it.
