No more generous rewards for each daily writ. No more Event started automatically to all characters if only one do the deed. No more a cornucopia of blessings for the humble players that work hard doing repeated quests in the hope of some treasures. DAMN YOU ZENITHAR SCROOGE!!!

Oh, 2026! What a terrible year thou art! Disgraceful "Night Market", confusing season 50 or ONE or second ONE or season... 51? 52? 100?

Its a bad time to be an ESO newbie. Or veteran. Or simply someone trying to get some fun.

At least some poor souls are deluded that everything is great and Molag Bal is a nice guy. I'm not one of them, but I still have some tiny hope for 2027.

Oh, Destiny! Heed me! ESO deserves better than this!

A Zenithar box has never been given for each daily writ. It was given for each Master writ for the first year only. If you do not believe me, you can check the news posts for the previous years.

The first Zenithar in 2022 gave a purple reward box for every master writ. In 2023, purple boxes were reduced to the first master writ per discipline (blacksmithing, enchanting, etc.).

Daily writs have been one purple box per day per account since the first Zenithar in 2022. I am not sure where this idea of endless purple boxes from doing daily writs comes from. It has never been a thing. Are people conflating Zenithar with the Anniversary event, where you do indeed get a purple box for every daily writ?

Other than Trade Bars instead of Event Tickets, 2026 Zenithar is same rules as 2025, 2024, and 2023. And even the first Zenithar in 2022 was essentially a master writ event, not a daily writ event.

Yeah they nerfed the HELL out of Master Writs after the first pass. People were doing hundreds of them and getting a bunch of Boxes.

I still don't understand the point of limiting them. You can get tons of Boxes doing things like Gargoyles in Craglorn or running with a Guildie through Dolmens somewhere. People have to give up their mats in exchange for doing Writs so it's not like they're getting Boxes for free. It takes time to get enough mats that you can do a whole crapload of Master Writs over the course of two whole weeks, or for people who buy a majority of their stuff, it takes Gold. Which they also need to spend time earning somehow.

The rewards are fast and easy in Craglorn, I would like to see them remove the cooldown from other zones too though. Everyones idea of "good or bad" is subjective, but I find them to be pretty decent for the amount of effort required. I am not a fan of the required grouping mechanic though and the amount of fodder like provisioning recipes in lower quality are a bit overboard.

The golden box is only from the event daily quest in Craglorn.

Not the first person I've seen struggle with this, I guess not enough people read the news articles overview of the events. Unsure how ZoS can improve on this, but maybe it needs some help.

I agree it's underwelming right now but there is a reason for that. Repeated event were crafting items were given out like candies crashed the economy and now the only rare item left to sell are furnishing praxies.
