Necromancer Siphoning bugged?

I don't know why, but fighting Necro vs Necro in pvp, wont allow me to cast Detonating siphon over 50% of the fight. I can visually see corpses on the ground, but the skill won't fire. It happens in bg's occasionally but mainly fighting another Necromancer.

I am using both class sets, so maybe its the sets? IDK but its annoying.

The game might be attempting to use the other necros corpse, since you mentioned necro vs necro

I noticed having the same issue, it tends to happen whenever the other necro has the perk to create a corpse on the enemy. It's that specific corpse that appears for me too and I can't use it(I do not have said perk active).

It's mainly impacting me for dungeons and trials where my dps becomes severely limited as a result.
