There is currently an exploit where you can make it so banner bearer doesn’t appear on your character while using it. I have a list of names of people using this exploit.

It bugs out in Cyrodiil ( or any laggy'ish instance ) and often the flag and aura disappear when you turn it off and back on. I also fail to see how this "exploit" would be impactful in any way in actual PvP scenarios.Edited by evLRise on July 1, 2026 2:06PMThere's Dunmers and there's N'wahs3 -

They should just make the bug an in game feature for everyone. I can’t seem to repeat it1 -

Kickimanjaro✭✭✭✭I would prefer the bug OP described where I couldn't see it at all... Last night I had an issue with banner where the visual effect from it was stacking and not going away. I tried turning it off and even removing it from both bars, but the effect remained. My group members said they could see it, too! Even when it wasn't on or slotted!
When viewed at some angles, it made it impossible to see anything as the immovable banner is bright white and would fill the whole screen if I moved my camera angle down a bit...
I did not notice any duplicate buffs or whatever, it seemed to be purely visual (and quite annoying).
Death did not remove the visual effect (it stayed on my corpse and on me after I respawned). Traveling between keeps within Cyrodiil did not reset it, but leaving Cyrodiil did.
I noticed that while my own banner was quite visible, I did not see any others even though I knew other players were running it. I could see the flag on their back, but not the area of effect around them.
Seems related, almost as if I somehow became the bearer of all banners (at least their visual effects) within Cyrodiil for a time or something.Edited by Kickimanjaro on July 2, 2026 9:23PMgood thoughts, good words, good actions2
