Add more MIRRORMOOR skill styles for skills and different actions. Right now there is only one for Blade Cloak and the herb gathering animation. I would like to have more customizable MIRRORMOOR animations and styles. Especially teleport and arrival animations. But not one style for 2k Crowns, at least a bundle of 3–4 skill styles for 2k Crowns.

These styles should be available as sets, so people could build a theme. I like the mirrormoor effects too!

It looks like they chose Red for the Sorcerer rework alt color scheme based on the Trade Bar vendor, so when Update 52 releases and Sorcerer’s rework should be arriving 🤞, there should be red versions of all of the missing skills.
Dragon Priest [Restoring Light, Draconic Power, Grave Lord]
Death Knight [Grave Lord, Winter’s Embrace, Siphoning]
Pyromancer [Ardent Flame, Dawn’s Wrath, Earthen Heart]
Summoner [Living Death, Grave Lord, Daedric Summoning]
Ranger [Animal Companions, Green Balance, Shadow]
Druid [Earthen Heart, Animal Companions, Stormcalling]
Elementalist [Stormcalling, Winter’s Embrace, Ardent Flame]
Dawnguard [Dawn’s Wrath, Restoring Light, Ardent Flame]

I would love a skill style for Hurricane/Lightning form that does NOT make my char transparent and can actually see what's happening. Also I hate that it's so dominant that your outfit doesn't matter most of the time

iirc there was an implication that this was the idea.

At the very least, DK’s invisibility from Dragon Blood is now gone. It’s likely Sorc will get that as well.

Sorry, what trade bar vendor? There are some red sorc skills being sold?

    Not yet, but highly likely.

A while back (and in the Gold Coast Bazaar), we got three skills of each class in a different color: blue DK, red Sorc, blue Templar, purple NB, orange Warden, red Necro, and blue Arc.

With DK’s refresh, they added the blue versions of the rest of the skills for all three lines.

It follows therefore that each refresh would likely fill in the rest of the Class skills with those colors.

Gold Coast Bazaar, you can see what colors each class landed with for their for-gold color variants each rework.

    Sorc shows Red
    Necromancer shows Red
    Warden shows Orange
    Nightblade shows Violet
    Templar shows Blue
    Arcanist shows Blue
    Dragonknight was Blue

It’s honestly incredibly boring that Templar got Blue instead of White, and Dragonknight got Blue instead of Green, and finally that Sorcerer got Red instead of Yellow.

That said, lately they’ve been adding them in, like a new Yellow style for Overload next month, and recently with Dragonknight getting Green versions of the old poison skills.

Thanks for your replies, Tom and Radiate. I hadn't really been keeping track of the colour schemes they added for the various classes. They really should sell a bigger variety of colours for the classes. I mean, giving us only 2 colour schemes for a class is really limiting. What if you don't like either of the 2 colours available for your class?

Though perhaps they're testing the waters right now with the yellow Overload skill. I'd really love to see all the colours available for every class eventually.

I'm sure this won't be a popular thing to say but I don't really like the skill styles. That's me being somewhat diplomatic about my opinion.

I just hate that you can't tell what a skill is with the overriding colors, or the pets being a weird color or lighting up everything in towns or at dolmens. ESO used to be a very toned down, "realistic" fantasy game, now everything is an illusion. Sadly, the NPCs can't implement local ordinances.

I hope that ZOS implements that feature they've mentioned where you can turn off other players effects. I'm sure there will be a limit to what they can do but anything that can tone down the VFX would be good, at least for some of us.

I find it quite annoying to be standing at a crafting table, having just finished, and having to be assaulted by someone's dwemer spider mount blasting off with multiple colors, smoke everywhere and a char mark on the ground. It wouldn't be so bad if they had the courtesy to move a few feet away from the table before mounting.

Yeah I agree. I may like to customise my own skills, but then having a hundred different skill styles from other players all firing at the same time is not the best look. I would really like the option to turn off skill styles from other players on my end.

Yep. Hoping for a "disable skill styles" client-side toggle. It is harder to tell what skills people are using in pvp when they can each be 20 different colors and effects, and this reduces the skill cap.

The mounts and such hopefully will be tamed by the vfx slider, at least.

Or does it increase the skill cap? It increases the need for discernment, and skill = scirn etymologically
