Pure Sorcerer DPS issues.

I dunno what is wrong with my DPS if I play pure sorcerer class on my sorceress?

If I subclass into the offensive arcanist tree, I'm around 30k to 70k DPS. And this was even calculated with missing about 25% additional damage on the champion tree.
If I go pure Sorc, I'm only around 5k to 15k DPS. This one got the additional 25% damage from the champion tree.

There was nothing changed on the equipment to do this test.

Are you using the class mastery skills? Made a big difference for my sorc.

Yeah. And this is even more odd. The DPS is with the offensive class mastery.

Even my little level 12 arcanist Dunmer deals already more DPS.

We can help. But we need to know more about your build.

Like what gear, what cp you have (if any) what skills you have slotted, attributes, mundus stone, food, race, etc. The more information the better.

Something's definitely wrong. I'm doing more DPS than that on my RP/Questing build. Give us more information about your abilities, sets etc.

My pure class heavy sorc parsed 109k DPS with sergeants and noble duelist. Around 102k with Mora's thesis or monolith.

Arcanist is still easier for burst AOE DPS, but your build seems wrong .. unless you mistyped.

Ok, a few things I see here:

Make sure your Surge buff is re-applied, Arcanist equivalent has the named buff passive on both bars while slotted on either bar, while surge requires activating the ability to get the named buff. This is a big DPS drop if this buff falls off.
Gold out weapons, I know you said same gear, but weapons do make a noticeable difference when golded out, unlike armor pieces and will be a DPS increase for both builds.
A lot of wasted bar slots.
No Bound Armaments (high damage skill that also grants major crit chance buff just for being slotted on either bar)
No Curse (Sorcerers high damage "burst" skill)
No Hurricane (Sorcerers best Damage over Time skill and also the class armor buff, will require being in melee range, but is worth it, especially when solo as enemies will come to you already and the armor buff while active will reduce your damage taken)
No Atronach (Sorcerers best PvE DPS ultimate)

As for swapping skills out:
Replace Negate with Atronach
Replace 1 Mages Fury (don't need it on both bars) for Armaments
Replace Time Stop with Hurricane
Replace either Mines OR Streak with Haunting Curse

Lastly, while not a direct DPS increase, I would change the morph on surge from your current Power Surge to the other morph Crit Surge since, as a DPS, Crit Surge will provide healing while you deal damage instead of needing to stop and heal.

Lastly, Sorcerer only really keeps up with the other classes in PvE DPS when running a very specific and highly optimized build so don't expect it to completely outshine your Arcanist with these changes above, but they should at least bring them closer together for DPS numbers.

Hope this helps.

P.s. One more tip, try to use your lightning flood synergy off cooldown (every 15? seconds), it's a nice bit of extra damage that can be done while casting another ability and is also AoE, and when not using the synergy flood is one of the worst DoTs in the game.

@Gunthar there are more efficient ways to share builds. This is from the console plug-in Battlescrolls. I know most PC people use CMX, but I don't know how that works, and I find those hard to read. But anyway, Battlescrolls:

In the add-on, you need to choose the specific location/fight, then tab all the way over to the right to Build.
But one screen shows your CP, your sets and weight, skills on front and back bar, race, class passives, mundas, food.

Much easier than 19 individual screenshots.
Not recommending this build shown. Just happens to be a HA 1-bar sorc I was testing yesterday.

The easiest is to buy them from a guild trader, but shop around as some prices can be eye-watering. If you spend skill points in your various craft trees to get hireling emails, you'll get some that way. You can also rarely get them from harvesting resources.

Purchase from Guild Traders (can be expensive, especially for something like Chromium Plating)
Daily Crafting Writs have a chance of rewarding you with Gold tempers in the Boxes
Hireling Mails sometimes have them
Occasionally they're rewards from Golden Pursuits
For this Season at least there are Boxes that reward unbound crafting mats of each tier
Harvest raw mats and refine them (always have Meticulous Disassembly Champion Point unlocked beforehand, it increases your chances of getting tempers including Gold ones from raw mats)
Deconning Gold Gear (same as above, Meticulous Disassembly will increase the chance of getting a Gold temper back, but it's only ever one, so this is NOT something I recommend doing, only adding it here since it IS technically a way to get them)

The easiest but not necessarily quickest way to get Gold tempers is to find a solid spot to harvest a bunch of mats, spend about an hour doing it, then refine what you've bought. You COULD also buy raw mats from other people to refine instead if you've got more Gold than time. I'd also say if you go the farming yourself route, find a spot in Craglorn. There are a couple of reasons:

Chests there tend to drop Ancient Sandstone, which is on the expensive side because it's used in Fargrave Furniture (which is really popular and a lot of the Furnishings take a LOT of it)
Chests and mobs can drop Ra Gada Gear, which can be deconned for Ancient Sandstone
Potent and Fortified Nirncrux only drop from Craglorn, and both of them are worth a pretty penny, with Potent being the more expensive of the two
