    Loving to see this.

Personally, I've never been much into Thieves Guild, so I'm not super excited at the idea of an upcoming GP revolving around thievery, but this one I can really appreciate :) thanks

EDIT: btw, I have no data but I am seeing way more people around since Challenge Difficulty has been added.

    Oof, Vestige is hard!

Anyways, I decided to work through this in a public dungeon last night. Good to get some gold, thanks for the quick money!

So, no one gives a damn about the challenge dif so they decided to promote it with a GP. Nice. Keep catering to the vocal minority. GG ZOS.

It's called promoting a new feature for the game. Your cynicism is completely unfounded.
-First-Wave Closed Beta Tester of the Psijic Order, aka the 0.016 percent.
Exploits suck. Don't blame just the game, blame the players abusing them!

-Playing since July 2013, back when we had a killspam channel in Cyrodiil and the lands of Tamriel were roamed by dinosaurs.

It's something. Completed the Vestige title but Vestige mode itself felt like an insider dev meme more than anything I would want to engage with on the regular. 50k ranged light attacks from fire atronachs spawned during dragon hunts for example, but you can get the achievement just by participating and having enough soul gems, so I don't feel like it was really earned in a fair manner. Even little Rutmange skeever boss in Bad Man's Hallows managed to two-tap me on Vestige, lol.

Seasoned and Master is somewhat tolerable for the most part, but some zones/fights in the world are not designed to be equal, so some fights will be vastly over-tuned in later chapter/dlc zones.

If Seasoned or Master granted more resources like hides and higher tier gear like purple and rarely gold, then I could see that being more worthwhile; but that could be exploited by teaming up with players on easier modes too. Farming gold from mobs will never be worthwhile in the long run, so anything above Seasoned is not worth the extra TTK imo.

Currently working through main story with new character Vestige mode. Def makes it more challenging. I have tried all modes in all encounter types. Seasoned isn't a very noticeable difference. Master is tough against some of the newer world bosses and newer incursions. Vestige for pd n wb really need a group. Once you run through dyes and titles, the cash and gear needs upped, imo, to keep me coming back. I do see a lot more players and that is a good change. Thanks for yer werk! Best mmorpg ever

A poll suggests that most the people responding did not care to try the feature. Some folks did try them. Some folks do use them.
The Development team has their preferences, it seems, and will always respond accordingly. Guilds, Groups, and End-gamers. The current event provides the evidence to support my opinion and this is just my opinion.

Are you referring to this poll?
I'd suggest you to re-read the results.
I don't think you got them right... Yeah...

...it's 64% of players saying they used the option... How is that a little?
EDIT: Btw, I was sincerely encouraging you to take a deeper look at the very poll you brought up. 'Cause voluntarily or not, you were providing false informations. So I've given you the benefit of the doubt and said "go take another look".
But you say I'm being cocky and looking foolish - I agree, I'm a fool, but this doesn't change the fact I am right in pointing out the true evidence shown by the poll.

    I see it differently
At the time of this post:
    34% (136) didn't even try it.
34% (136) tried at least one level
Only 30% (117) tried all levels

One would have to read the posts to see if those counts are still playing or simply tried and stopped.
