What ability Halves healing?

Been doing some BG's, and while there's the standard halved healing, there are also times where my healing (even when critting), is halved again.

What does that?

I go from a 14K crit heal to a 6K crit heal.

It's my Shrewd Offering.

Does the health drain from Shrewd count towards the anti-heal mechanic?

Why doesn't it prioritize halving HoTs over burst/ST heals?

Sure you didn't got hit by the double combo of minor/major defile and cowardice?

Offering is tied to your weapon damage so Cowardice and Enervation also affects it (less sure about enervation)

that one might be more likely, it's just odd how sudden a shift it was from 14K healing to 6K

That's a big difference, but it could come from a variety of buffs (Mending, Vitality, Powerful Assault, "An Eye For Exploitation" Class Mastery, low health healing passives) and debuffs (Defile, Cowardice, probably not Equilibrium). However if those were the issue, I would expect more of a range than a binary.

was this during the 3 team BG week? I think there are 1-2 maps that have an invisible, 50% healing debuff on them in specific areas. Or at least they did when they were originally released.

They still do. A few of the 3 team maps have areas that halve healing received to discourage hanging out in spawn.

Except of course they never explain this and there is 0 visual to indicate this so most people just don't even know that happens and it discourages nothing.

Could be a combination of things. Either your 6k heal is actually not a crit heal, or it is a crit heal, but has been reduced by:

    1. You not having major/minor mending activve
    2. You not having major/minor vitality self buff active
    3. You being effected by major/minor cowardice, which reduces your weapon/spell damage and raw healing power
    4. You being effected by major/minor defile which reduces healing received, and/or
    5. You being effected by heal absorption which absorbed 5k of your heal.

Any or all of these or a combination of all these could be true to result in the reduced heal you received.

1& 2 : I do not have Major/Minor Mending, nor Major/Minor Vitality active, nor do I typically have them active either. (Just high crit/crit damage/healing)
3: Maybe minor cowardice, though not Major, given I was in spawn and the current sources of Major Cowardice.
4: Definitely at least minor defile given the SPS user blanketing me in status effects.
5: Didn't see the blue hp bar for heal absorption.

Did not know that was a thing. Though this was the "new" mini colosseum 4v4 Deathmatch map. Not sure if it has those areas too.

It's possible it does have a small area just under the spawn to keep people from hanging out in spawn.

Having 8 sticky hots will also reduce healing while under battlecry, don't really remember the value, 33%?

This would be almost impossible to reach in a 4v4 BG though, especially considering that a lot of things you'd think would count as Sticky Hots don't actually count (such as Intensive Mender for example).
