We got overland difficulty.

I just read that we are getting helms for Companions. (Is this true?)

How about a Furniture Crafting Station! (Hopes it's next!)

I wouldn't mind a station to craft furnishings in. But personally I'd rather prefer a searchbar in the furnishing section of existing crafting stations first. It adds a nice level of immersion, that furnishings are separated by the type of materials that are used in their creation. But I despise the hours of scrolling through the list looking for one specific furnishing out of hundreds at the same station.

(Glad you changed the thread title. The first version sounded rather rude and demanding.)

Didn't mean it that way. I was actually trying to show that I was more hopeful because players were getting things they have requested for a long time, and I hoped this would be next. I changed the title to make that more clear.

I'd rather have search bars added to crafting stations. A full seperate craft station for furniture only sounds like it could get confusing for folk fast if they dont include a search bar

How about a Furniture Crafting Station! (Hopes it's next!)

I'd like to second that idea. I spent a good 15 minutes the other night running from station to station trying to remember which craft had the item I wanted to make. Other than being too lazy to look it up on the wiki, the root cause of the problem turned out to be that my crafter didn't know how to craft that particular item (probably cannibalized the ones I had from other houses), but "one station to make them all" would be a fantastic addition and would also make it pretty clear that "you don't know how to do that" is the problem to be solved rather than "this station can't do that."

EDIT to add that I'd also pay real-world money for a survey assistant. Just sayin'.

I probably would, too, depending on how it would function.

Quoted simply because it merits repetition.

I don't see how it would be any more confusing than the different Crafting Stations we have now, honestly. And as it is, we have things like Lighting spread across several Stations. Search bars only help if you know what it is you want to make (though we should definitely have them so we don't have to scroll through long lists of things). But I have close to 2k Plans learned at this point. I can't remember which Station X Light is at or Y Bed is at or Z Mirror is at. Instead I have to run between all the Stations we have now. A search bar wouldn't help if I know the name of The Thing I wanna make, but can't remember which Station it's made at; I'd still have to go between them until I find the right one.

And having that many Plans means I can't remember a majority of what I have to search for it. I also 90% of the time don't know when I start furnishing a House what I feel will actually fit, so I'll often have to spend a bunch of time running between all the different Crafting sSttions to check what kind of Lighting I have. What kinds of Tables I have. What kind of Beds I have. Because I don't often furnish a House with furniture that matches the Racial build of the House. Nord Houses don't always get decorated with Nord things. Breton Houses don't always get furnished with Breton things.

I'd propose combining the different Categories and making each of those their own Station, with all of that Category's items included:

    Conservatory, Courtyard, and Structure
    Dining and Hearth
    Parlor and Suite
    Gallery and Library
    Mounts and Pets
    Workshop, Services, and Lighting
    Misc and Undercroft

My reasoning is trying to keep things that have a similar sort of "theme" together. For Cons, Court, and Structure, those are often things used or placed outside or used to build, well structures. Dining and Hearth, food or kitchen-related things. Parlor and Suite, living spaces. Gallery and Library, both sort of collections or things to show off, and a lot of bookshelves often have art stuff or knick-knacks displayed on them. Mounts and Pets should be obvious haha. Workshop, Services, and Lighting is a bit of a stretch but I figure workshops offer services and they need lighting, so...yeah lol. And then Misc and Undercroft because to me at least, a LOT of the Undercroft stuff feels miscellaneous in nature.

For each Station all the Categories would be expandable like they currently are. Filters and search bars could be used to help narrow down what you're looking for. For example for Hearth and Dining, there could be a Utensils Filter if you only want to see what kind of Plates and Bowls you have at the same time, rather than searching Bowls and then Plates separately.

The main thing would be keeping all the different kinds of X Furnishing (like Lighting) in one Station, rather than spread across several. All of the Furnishings are already sorted by these Categories so that wouldn't change. There WOULD need to be work done to add tags for filters and obviously in making the Stations and breaking all the Categories into their own thing rather than a submenu within Crafting Stations.

But as it is now, if you know a lot of Plans it really is a minigame in and of itself to try and work out what you have, what you want, and what Station it's at.
