I'm in the game. I click on Crown store. Featured Items.

The Only thing you can buy is crates, in various quantities. Every other item can only be purchased with Gems ( and I assume Seals ).

Isn't there anything else that could be considered " featured " to just get with Crowns? Now we have to go through every tab just to make sure we don't miss something we actually wanted.

    They just dropped a day ago, so they're highly featured. New stuff will bump them down.

    Yep. Featured items is always the newest additions, stuff leaving soon, or some of the things currently discounted. It's never been a reliable way to see everything you might want to buy.

    I suspect ZOS want players to look through the individual sections because there's a chance you'll find things you didn't know to look for and want, same idea as shops moving stuff around periodically so you can't go straight to the things you want.

    The very reason I do not ever buy crates is the rng aspect. Anytime I have gotten free crates they are full of worthless junk for which I might get a GEM. Not good enough.

    I got a mount out of one of the crates I earned through this season's tome. Apart from that, I've never had much luck with crates. I mean, they have experience scrolls at the purple level lol. It's a bit silly. I no longer spend real money on them because you get so many duplicate items, and the number of gems you get for the duplicates is pathetic.

    Very much agree. Realizing the the game needs it's whales and all that FOMO for revenue. I still feel personally that resistance to "aquirement-syndrome" is very important for my long term game enjoyment .
